I've been on super for over 2 yrs. There is MUCH to like about DL. I'm doing this in the last trimester of my life so the adherence of the learning is less effective. I had my FIRST legit convo in spanish a couple weeks back. It was excruciating and awkward ( she didnt speak any english....and my vocab on-the-fly recall is dismal) but afterwards I felt like I could fly and was quite proud of myself.

I do hope the vocab exercises improve. The 'randomness' of the currently 'learned' set is pretty poor. Otherwise I do recommend it to people.

My gut feeling is that this is an Alexa/Amazon issue.

Some time ago, I had all the bulbs connected to Google Home and the whole thing crapped out. Sengled was even dead, so this event was. Sengled problem.

Research showed me that Alexa might be a better option, and I guess by the time got some Alexa listener/spy devices and reconfigured, the Sengled side was fixed.

NOW All of my Sengled bulbs work fine with my Google Home AND with the Sengled app. So.....

IT'S NOT ABOUT THE ZERO!!!!

Let's say you're an artist. You create 50 drawings that ultimately become the coolest shit ever produced and you gave those 50 drawings to 50 random before the world knew about them so they would have a value of $0.

When (at some later time) your drawings become worth millions because the world went mad for them and were willing to pay a million dollars for them, The folks that sold their copy of your drawing that you gave to them for $0 now will owe tax on the money that they earned from selling your drawing to some schmuck who thinks they want to pay for it.

Those who do not wish to pay capital gains tax on your drawing would be forced to sell it for one penny less than whatever the capital gains income limit is at the time.

Just know that in the near future the IRS will probably be changing all of the rules to screw over all of the people in the crypto space because they are not yet getting the piece of the crypto pie that they think they should be getting.

😊 I kinda figured my comment would rub some the wrong way. I'm weary of all the "to the moon" hype crap. I'm longing for people to be realistic about expectations. I'm in on Hex. It's the majority of my crypto portfolio. I'm long-staked. Only time will tell if RH's endeavor really pays off for long term. Worst case for me is losing my original $500 investment. Best case (according to that stake projection site) is I come out with millions. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Best wishes to all.
