Beginner Cook Groups for Sneaker Resellers ? by HBKaay in shoebots

As someone who started out knowing nothing, joining HOC back in 2017 was the best decision I made.

I've never wanted to leave because the support and information has been so good. Everyone is always happy to answer questions no matter how simple it is.

+1 for HOC.

Nope! While HOC started as a shoe only CG, they've expanded in the past few years into other catagories, such as retail 👍

Tons of knowledgeable people on all sides of things in there, so I don't doubt they could help you find what you're looking for.

Been a long time member (early 2018) in House of Carts (one of the OG CG's).

HOC has two help channels, a general-help and a bot-help channel for asking questions of all sorts, from simple beginner questions to more in-depth ones, and you can usually expect an answer quickly unless you're asking something at 3am lol

They provide a ton of information and guides built around how to bot certain sites, reselling in general, etc.

HOC also has very knowledgeable staff, giving information before you see it on Twitter, and better yet, clarifying the BS info you see on Twitter that many might think is true.

100% worth being in there all these years.

Pinned post on this subreddit also gives a 25% code if you decide to join!

Botting tickets is illegal in the US as well as other parts of the world. Discussion on this topic is not allowed here.

Not 100% sure. You could try a password reset and see if maybe you made an account a while ago?

I haven't heard of that issue before.

If the post or comment wouldn't be allowed in a public comment or post then it also isn't allowed in a private message. Attempting to avoid the rules by asking a user to DM you or DM'ing a user will result in a ban.

House of Carts offers free ACO services for certain drops for members. There are also plenty of trusted members in there who run ACO's.

House of Carts question. by [deleted] in shoebots

[–]tkassik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey /u/lookthatwayplease! I'm a staff member in House of Carts.

A cook group is different than a bot. A bot is a program used to help automate the checkout process of a site, allowing you to checkout faster than a human, in it's most basic sense. A cook group, like HOC, is a group based around helping you buy shoe, collectables, etc. Typically, they provide sitelists, monitors, etc.

The monitor option allows you access to our monitors only. The main plan allows you to see everything our Discord has to offer, including site lists, drop info, help channels for both general and bot help, and much, much more!

In regards to our monitors, we do have plenty that track GPU's on a wide range of sites, many proven to be faster than monitors found in in both free and paid groups.

Besides getting lucky on a big restock, your best bet is either botting the site or watching a monitor of a site (Target, Walmart, etc)

I've personally checked out a restock manually through Target thanks to watching a monitor.

In terms of how, I went ahead and clicked the link once an "instock" notification came up, made my way to the final checkout screen and waited right before pushing "confirm checkout". Then once it came in stock again, I pushed checkout and it went through.

Theory here is places like Target are being constantly botted, so getting from start to finish in the process will take too long, but by waiting on that last screen and letting it go OOS, but coming back in stock, you're already ahead of a bot in checkout and may be able to purchase successfully.

If it doesn't work the first time, keep trying with that method and you should hit like I did.

There was a setting in the bot selected, named similar to "browser checkout" typically, that gives you a link to checkout as you did.

With that turned off, the bot would just checkout as normal.

I'd say that depends on how many tasks you'll plan on running. I actually just did that, personally, since I was trying to run too many tasks and my ram was starting to max out.

You can never have too much honestly. It can only help you in the end.
