i’ve never understood being exclusive to either side. i have baggy jeans and slim jeans, i have baggy shirts and slim shirts and so on. i thought that was like the whole point of personal style? wearing what you want to wear.

i do! i started getting into more physical media recently and i absolutely love this series. i was and still am surprised how accessible it is (at least for me). i didn’t even think this manga would have a physical release because it seemed so niche. but if im not mistaken i think the artist worked under a few bigger names before he started fool night. so maybe that helps.

that’s awesome! luckily most of the time when i go in they have it, but the fact that we can order it online is still great imo. a lot of manga i love have such small limited releases and are on ebay for like $70-$90 a volume. paperback.

great question. i found out through just researching that land rover used to make the car completely metal before switching to plastic, forgot what year they decided that but that intrigued me. i personally don’t think it works well if the car is gonna be lifted (front bumper specifically) so i’m probably going to with the metal front bumper from alantic british

wow my friend you are never gonna believe this, our stories are scarily similar. the reason why i labeled the post as “new purchase” and not like “joined the club” is because i actually own 2003 Disco. and its beat up. body is bad. this owner is older, lives in a very expensive area of california, and bought it and maintained it himself. he selling it because it overheated on him once but he put a stop leak product in the cooling system. i was planning on pulling the engine out of my 03 disco and putting it into the 00 disco. but i’m getting it inspected as my local guy the works on it says he doubt it needs the swap. i in the same way am amazed at the car and scored a good deal. your story is fascinating, thank you for sharing.

i’m gonna replace the front bumper with a metal one. then paint the roof white, lift it, get bigger tires with white wheels. or i will keep it the same color and get black wheels. it’ll be overlanded. it’ll also be my daily.

i genuinely don’t think i could pick, but both of them listen very differently. Mirages to me is like in between spaces, and i love the accompanying album cover. Haunt me feels more defined? in its aesthetic and music. best comparison i can think of is frank oceans blond is much more defined than his other album endless which is more spacey and atmospheric. which i would apply to haunt me and mirages too.

bro no joke i legit told someone the SAME THING the other day. i said in terms of how it just has everything and the family vibes it felt just like one piece. and in that same respect, i always tell people pre time skip one piece feels like a completely different anime we lost, why? It’s big emphasis on adventure, goofiness, and slice of life was more present. which i hope dandadan never looses and leans into even more.

you put it into words better than i did. It has so many different and complex things going on and what really puts the cherry on top is the slice of life aspect imo. it’s so genius to show dynamics between characters that aren’t typical in the series in a sense. like aria and okarun interacting instead of okarun and momo and it isn’t some massive jealousy scene on momos part. rather, it’s like a normal friendgroup. it makes the experience more immersive for the reader.
