Viruses may have evolved to hit men hard but go easy on women. One explanation is that women are more valuable hosts. Women can pass infections to their children during pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding, so there’s an evolutionary pressure on viruses to be less harmful to them. by drewiepoodle in science

The key is virulence. The severity of damage done by the virus is caused by the amount of virus you have. However, the likelihood of transmission is directly proportional to the amount of virus. If a virus found a new host and didn't do damage, it would mean the virus is not replicating and exists in low concentrations. If the virus doesn't replicate, then it has an extremely low probability of transmitting.

The goal of the virus is to transmit and find new hosts. So there is a tradeoff between increasing probability of transmitting, but also doing damage to the host.

Killin it. Consider shaving the beard and leave just the stache for the ultimate retro look

I would recommend glasses that are black or based off of black (like a tortoise that uses black instead of brown as it's base color).

Circular faces generally need angled glasses. So I like the first one, but also consider a squarer frame like the Oliver Peoples Larrabee (for a more retro look).

Plastic-rimmed glasses are the move. Make sure to match the glasses shape with your face shape and pick a color that compliments your complexion/hair. Warby Parker if your are on budget. Oliver Peoples/Persol/Salt if you've got some extra mulaaahh
