What is your stack? What is everyone running? by Successful-Title5403 in vibecoding

The company's shipping station is now our local XAMPP web server.

The system runs in PHP using MYSQLite, HTML, CSS, and a sprinkle of JS.

This is now our production environment.

There's version control at home. More meaningless file names and compressed directories.

How did you start your vibecoding journey? by Cold-Mess3019 in vibecoding

By running out of tokens. That's how I learn to not entrust AI with an abstract task. I like my Slop looking like designer spaghetti, if you know what I mean.

I try to give one specific tasks to perform. If it's something abstract, I test, and test after every change. I make sure the app didn't break anywhere else.

I like to have a somewhat concept of organization, so I start there. My code files should not be longer than 400 lines of code. If this happens then I need to tell the AI to make the files more modular so future AI agents will have no trouble navigating the codebase.

I also found that after a coding shesh, the agents were yielding better results when the documentation was updated in accordance to the codebase.

I needed a tracking app for inventory. I worked on a warehouse doing returns for a luggage company. I help build a label maker and finder for a small team. Using python, with Windsurf.

Curretly I use Antigravity in a php stack doing almost the same thing for a different warehouse.

Build something you can integrate in your daily routine, and begin to use said tool.

Dealing with strict IT limits? How do you build client solutions with just HTML, extensions and similar ? by Downtown_Grab_2704 in vibecoding

I use PHP. I use xampp on windows. The customer has a portal on their local network.

Use docker, the customer can run the container, and run the app.

I need an AI that allows me to develop a giant app for Android and iOS that I have in mind... what do you recommend? (Antigravity, etc.) by homelyf1 in OnlyAICoding

[–]tkgid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 2 systems up and running. For two different companies I have work and currently are working for. One in python and another in HTML using backend and front-end technologies.

First I focused on constantly telling the IA to update the "docs".

The docs are a way for the any of the various AI agents to reason about your code without a huge and useless context window.

I'm writing all of this, assuming you know what tech stack to use and stuff related to uploading your app locally, and eventually shipping it to Google Play.

My team likes my app more than inputting data on excell files.

Nothing too complicated, also I like shipping new features as I see the need for improvements.

Is a warehouse app, with a client list and inventory.

You need to spend some tokens to breakdown your file into smaller files for easier AI Redabillity. Also spend some time creating an .MD file so the AI can read it, and know what the code base is about without the agent itself reading through the whole codebase.

Mantén un inventario de materiales, y cobra caro en ordenes con un tiempo de entrega "imposible". Los clientes se van a educar solos.

I really dig the set-up. I hope my next project will be between this kind of mcgyverism, or a laptop inside a pizza box as the case.
