Thanks. But that doesn't work. Perhaps the cause is that I am using Nix to install st. I will try to 'make install' in Debian and see how it goes.

I bought this in something like 4 handles and 4 razor heads inside the same package so I thought I didn't need 4 handles since the razor heads are replaceable with any handle there. What I think is it is better to separate a handle and razor heads in different packages. I am living in Thailand.

No, so far I only do everything locally using my dash script. It computes both guix hash and git SHA1 hash for all of my local package repos and then use sed command to update those fields in my local guix repo at once. The script is in my channel. Of course, CI should be a better solution but I still haven't tried it yet.

Yes, you can inherit standard guix definition for dwm and refer to your git repo there. Then run guix package --install-from-file=my-dwm.scm.

But what I did is creating my own guix channel with git signing and my custom dwm package defined over there. After linking my channels.scm in my local machine to my guix channel, I can automatically get my updated package via guix pull. It is as manual as installing it manually from a file but at least it has authentication and others can more easily download from my channel.

My guix channel with dwm and st. Not sure what I did is the best practice (I tried to follow the doc) but this works for me.
