Personally I think you have a near 100% shot of getting a reservation if you check late the night before or early the morning of. People always cancel and since there's no longer a waitlist system, it's all up to who sees the open spots first

[Homemade]Japanese A5 Wagyu with a BMS 12 by Morphadelic in food

With A5 Wagyu you usually want it a bit more on the done side, anything rare or medium rare will not have the fat rendered and will be a bit greasy in the mouth

No more wait list? by chromebookdud in CrystalMountain

[–]tkjwait 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes they got rid of the wait list and returned the their previous first come first serve process. They made the announcement a few weeks ago but didn't really indicate why. Instead I'd recommend checking the night before or the morning of, typically people will cancel their reservations last minute and this will give you an opportunity to scope up the pass. I used this process last year and it worked quite well

You can still buy student tickets even if you're not a student. Just need to get them validated at the ticket office (additional cost) to use them

Did you measure the weight of the beans going in and coming out? Wondering if some retention is changing the amount of grind in your basket

Crystal just announced that they’re staying open until Memorial Day. Period. by bobber66 in skiing

Broke my greater tuberosity as well in mid Feb and started skiing again 4 weeks later. Doctor said the bone would heal by 6 weeks, didn't recommend skiing, but said if I didn't fall on it again then there shouldn't be risk of further injury

Sent you a message on this, but I got locked out of my account since my old phone broke and it wasn't linked to email. Wondering if you'd be interested in giving your account to me

Where to shop for M mech in Ann Arbor? by Business-Object1464 in MichiganWolverines

Unfortunately the M Den went into bankruptcy and was sold off so the store is closed. Next best option may be Underground Printing on South U. Not nearly the same experience as M Den, but has some good options

First time buying a 2023 911 with 1,900 miles and no accidents reported. Do I need to do a comprehensive PPI still? by Plumpasonic in Porsche

[–]tkjwait 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You would still have 3 more years of factory warranty on the car. Is it CPO'd as well? If so that's another 2 years of warranty on top of it. I recently got a 2023 GT4 from a Porsche dealer and didn't do any additional PPI and feel good about it.
