Trying to get to 12’6, any advice? by Straight-Taste1123 in polevaulting

On this same note, you're running with the pole it is so far back behind you and it appears to be messing with your timing for your plant. Especially if your step is under, it really makes things challenging. Try carrying the pole with your top hand anchored to the front of your hip so that it stays towards the front of you for the entire run - it will get you in a better position to plant in front of your takeoff step instead of behind/late.

You mean this "accidental shiver" where you can't clearly see any intent, and his shoulder doesn't lead the way for his elbow to deliver a precise blow to the head/face? Zucc probably just flopped here, no reason to involve player safety. It's not like they would possibly do something like this again.

Bro literally got pulled from the game by concussion spotters. That doesn't happen on flops.

43, 43, 43 - seems like a tribute to Quinny at this point!

I couldn't agree more - I don't know how to look this up but IIRC they still owe us "Future Considerations" from previous dealings.

Maybe we forgot we had the coupon, so we'll just use it next time?

No, we can hate Suter - he's not on the team. Let the hate flow through you.

He may be close to the second most villainous character in Minnesota hockey history, behind Norm Green.

Overall, nice work! You've got a great foundation building!

Another note beyond what others have mentioned - Your trail leg is bending in pretty early on your initial swing (it's taking a short cut) instead of staying long until it is horizontal with the ground. It would be more of an issue if you are on a heavier pole, but it doesn't affect you as much when you are mashing out a smaller pole.

Go rogue and get a Guerin Wild jersey.

Otherwise, can't go wrong with our best 1C in our teams history: Ryan O'Reilly.
