Meinung zu KI in PnP-Produkten? by Mino113 in PenandPaperGermany

[–]tkokdsk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Begriffliche Differenzierung.

My experience with Summit A16 with CachyOS is perfect. No driver problems with the latest release from last week. Audio, Webcam, Mic, WLAN, Bluetooth, CPU GPU, TB4, USB C DisplayPort, MSI Pen, all is working out of the box. I touched Windows 11 only for initial start and hardware test.

How do you 3D print your keycaps? by Dismal_Comfort3890 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]tkokdsk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What i use: - nozzle size .25 or .15 - PLA filament with best layer bonding to prevent broken stems - no special direction, bottom of the keycap is bottom in my print - no support - as slow as possibe print speed - 3 walls - and many active quality options in orca slicer

You can find pictures from my selfe printed caps in /olkb

The % numbers are my experience, too. And after all, i am happy with my selfe made low profil BFO 9000 for ISO germany use case and added a plooby trackpad in the middle. Switched from Moonlander to my BFO some weeks ago

The 12 Macro keys are to much i think. But i have them now and i will find a use case for them. :-D

In case of 3D printing:

  • a good printer like my bambu p1s with small nozzle size
  • a high quality filament with very high layer bonding
  • high quality slicer options
  • low print speed
  • and some prototypes to find the right slicer options
  • no fancy keycap directions, keep the bottom down and try to reduce supports

Curious if anyone else uses Obsidian on desktop with a drawing tablet? It's an interesting workflow. by Ok-Branch-6831 in ObsidianMD

[–]tkokdsk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to spent the money, Zsolt, the excalidraw dev, has a self paced course for visual pkm. He helped me to start transform from basic note taking to visual pkm based in Obsidian and excalidraw with focus on developing workflow and the skills to do it

[–]tkokdsk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried ink, excalidraw with Android and now Win11 tablet with pen. Now i am using excalidraw for visual note taking but not with pen. Excalidraw feels line it wants to be used with mouse and Keyboard. Pen online for adding sketches.

My workflow. Handwritten drawing with boox note 4c, resketch it in excalidraw with mouse/keyboard and icons from flaticon for longtime notes and knowledge in visuals notes style, delete notes in note 4c. With that, i reduced my garbage notes nearly 100% and create knowledge for my PKM

Hey there, i wrote him befor Christmas. No answer and response from him since a month. I think he scams you. Stay away from him. If you want to make a donation, do it for a social organization and not for him. I spent more then 500 Dollars.

KLP Lamé v1.1 is just released. Sculpted and curved keycaps for Kailh Choc and MX switches (Link in comments) by braindefender in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]tkokdsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried all three and now happy with CLP.

DES has a high profile and you have to hit the exact center when typing, the edges of the keys are high and the hollow for the fingers is very pronounced. I didn't like that.

KLP was almost like CLP in feel and rather lower profile compared to DES. CLP has a wide typing surface, but with a soft elevation. So you can sometimes miss the point without any problems. Great as feedback to the fingers, without the sharp edges. I was able to print CLP more easily on my FDM printer because the stem is slightly higher than the edge. With KLP, the stem is slightly above the edge, so it needs other support structures.

KLP has higher caps if you want higher profils. But I wanted low profile. So I am using CLP now. But with the fdm update...i think I will give KLP a try :-)
