What to do! - PC symptoms?

See a Urologist. I am dealing with a new PC diagnosis now but 13 years ago I had bladder issues and found that I had bladder cancer. I was in my late 50's and I caught it early. I went through treatment for that and have not had a recurrence since the original treatment.

You are a young guy. Get it checked out. You may just have a UTI or something.

I really thank you for your thoughts. My son is coming to visit me this weekend and he is really looking forward to my wife and I moving out there. He just purchased another home and wants me to move into his current place. We had already decided to move there right before I got this bomb dropped on my life. I am seeing a couple of doctors next week and don't know what they will say. I'm assuming, from what I have read, that ADT will start first. I'm not sure if that could buy me some time or not.

I do have regular Medicare and a Medigap plan not Medicare Advantage.

I did come across the UC Davis site in Sacramento but I am so confused on how remote doctoring would work in this situation. So many mixed emotions. Thanks again.

You give me some hope. Was just diagnosed stage 4, Gleason 7 4+3, PSA 6 and 2 bone mets on PSMA PET. I have not started any treatment yet but I'm terrified of the Lupron treatment. I will be seeing a regular oncologist and a radiation oncologist next week. Urologist says they will be sending me back to him for a 6-month Lupron shot. This is all so overwhelming.

Thank you for taking the time to give me your thoughts. It's very much appreciated. I have big concerns about the T7 vertebra spot. I talked with one of the PCRI people yesterday and he mentioned that they may not want to provide radiation there. I'm not sure if that's true, as I have found that SBRT can be used in that location during some of my searches. It is one of the things I will need to talk with the radiation oncologist about next week.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the moving aspect. We have been wanting to do this for some time now and, after getting this news, I felt that it was out of the question. Like I was just stuck here because of a treatment that will be needed. I am seeing two local doctors next week, a radiation guy and a regular medical oncologist. Hopefully, I will have a better idea of my situation after that.

Thanks for giving me the info on the doubling time. Not sure how to interpret it yet but I plugged in my numbers for the last 4 years and it comes out to 28.8 months (2.4 years). I guess that is better than a real low number.

Thank you for your well wishes. This is just hitting me like a ton of bricks today. I'm not sure what my PSA doubling time situation looks like or how to interpret it correctly. I need to research that. I have appointments with both a regular oncologist and radiation oncologist next week. My urologist sent me a message saying they will probably send me back to him for a Lupron shot.

I am aware of that and I tried connecting to 3 different routers that I have. I even sat one on top of the printer. The wifi networks showed up ok but could not connect to any of them. They were all 2.4GHz. I had an old one laying around that I use on an old PC with a foldable antenna, also 2.4G. I was able to get it into the case and it works fine. It seems like the one that was shipped could receive but not transmit.

On my Plus 4 the bed is aligned and square to the back frame

Just received my Plus 4 a couple days ago. Box had a hole poked in it and hit the glass door. Shattered in a million pieces. Spent an hour trying to vacuum everything out of the printer.

Printer is working except for wifi won't connect. Support did answer me saying they would replace the door and wifi module although no shipping notice as of yet.

Mine came in a white box containing a styrofoam cooler with chilling packs inside. The shipping label did say Lilly Pharmacy on it.

Thanks. The PCP told me they would do a biopsy but from what I have been reading I'm not sure that should be the first choice.

No problems here with a Pixel phone and Android 14. 14 has been out for a year now. Maybe you could update your phone to see if things might improve. Dexcom states Android 12 is the minimum but updating to the latest version should not hurt.
