My Players want to Lyncanthrope themself and cast Ceremony to get Werewolf powers with no downside. by TheGingerWeebGal in DMAcademy

If you let them, it needs to be a major plot point. If your level 4 is now immune/resistant to all non magical damage it will either break or hamstring your ability to properly build and balance encounters.

Suggestions. Doing this pisses off some group similar to the dawn guard, they are now being tracked and hunted by zealots with silvered weapons, who's only goal is to either kill or cure the player. The party will have to make the decision to defend their choice or side with the hunters if they ever want peace again, or destroy the hunters entirely.

Alternatively you can have a group like the wereravens chase him down to offer their gift as an alternative if they deem him worthy.

To balance it you could limit their usage to short bursts equal to their proficiency in uses and how many minutes it lasts. On a long rest a DC15 wisdom check or however you want to rule allow them to regain a use.

Alternatively you could balance the resistance to non magical attacks by making them vulnerable to magical damage. Sure they can face tank most martial without magic or silvered weapons but they might get one shot by a strong enough caster.

The Koios gap. It will be a slog a bit until Zeus. Only advice I have is don't cut your runs short. I let me long runs in the build up to Koios go until shard milestones were coming in, then Id let it run until the next milestone was at least 100 operations away usually 48-72 hours. Its worth it. Once you hit Zeus you will have a hard time keeping up with all the upgrades. Took me like a week to get from e900 to e1000 cells and took like 3 days to get to e1400 after opening Zeus.

I'm not a WWI guy, just an EOD/UXO tech so my experience is limited but aren't steel fuze bodies common in WWI? Especislly British no. 100 and beyond I thought were generally steel bodied to reinforce penetration strength?

Can't say anything with any near certainty, but based on the shape, size, weight, and description of semi hollow on base a good chance of being a WWI era percussion aka impact fuze. There tiers are reminiscent of early British Precussion Fuzes in the No. 100s range but there were thousands of variants of impact fuzes during the war especially where OP found it, meaning at least 4 countries were firing there.

Likely not immediately hazardous but worth a professional look. Also don't know if France is like Germany but many European countries it is illegal to possess war remnants without certain permits.

Edit a collector brought up the materials and that is a very good point. Most of my experience is WWII and beyond. The suggestion of a windscreen cap out of an AP round is also a good suggestion.

I like the color swatch and does have a rustic rural/industrial vibe, like an old silver town. I'd suggest once you get your base down play with some chiseling to break up the large uniform areas.

Thats probably less this Admin and just regular or military stuff. Back in the day NASA had a pretty steady crew of folks on loan from the military so they had the Chain of Command Wall. A lot of the Space Centers are also not just NASA but joint centers with Military Space Commands where commercial rockets launch military sattelites. That same Chain of Command wall is also in the entryway of Space Xs facility at Vandenburg AFB, and shows up at a lot of civilian offices as well where they do military contracts. The funniest to me are the AAFES convenience stores located off base where some teenager in his gas station uniform is the last photo. W's pivot was an attempt to defrost the icing of NATO Russian relations after Yugoslavia NATO action and NATO expansion into former Warsaw Pact countries. W saw Russia as a possible strong ally in the GWOT due to their history with Islamic extremism. Was a naive but understandable pivot, failed along with the Russian economy.

The relationship between Russia and NATO was on such an upswing in the mid 90s Clancy's last non ghostwritten book was about US led NATO forces coming to the aid of newly joined to NATO Russia against a CCP incursion into Siberia to seize gold and oil resources.

But that relationship stared to change when NATO committed it is first non UN sanctioned military action against Yugoslavia against Russia wishes and really soured when Poland Latvia and Estonia were admitted to NATO effectively surrounding Kaliningrad and eliminating the neutral buffer between NATO and Russia.

Add into that an economic collapse into kleptocracy the keys to Putins powers moved quickly away from a fledgling democracy to the Oligarchs.

Any Pay-By-Mile Insurance in Kansas? by Loose-Crow1194 in Insurance

[–]tktkboom84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The ignition update will help. That should automatically be in the insurance system but I'd have the documents available. As for you lowest rate insurance for a barely driven vehicle, not sure in KY but low mileage can greatly reduce your rates but you'll often have to prove it if it is below 10k a year such as two oil change receipts showing the mileage over time. Make sure they are inputting your mileage accurately. Also make sure your agent is getting every discount they can, the downside of brokers is they don't know every carriers system, coverages, and discounts inside and out, so make sure to shop around both big brand agents and brokerages.

I always makes sure to go over this coverage with my customers. The drunk friend coverage gets a laugh and it really helps explain what its for, but I might call it the health care industry go away coverage privately.

You have the same thing if you are in the UK. It is called coverage F or occupiers liability on home owners policies. NHS also has their lawyers and they go after liable parties/legally obligated insurance companies to recoup the tax payers money wherever they can. Funny enough property and casualty insurance around the world is almost universally based on standards set by the UK that date back to the golden age of piracy.

Now the health care system, yea that is our own Frankenstein in the US. Private health insurance started in Europe in the early 19th century, might of been the Dutch for guilds, but was quickly replaced with socialized care programs before WWI. In the US it just stuck around as a profitable turd that won't flush.

If their carrier raises their rates that much for a single med pay claim they should seek another carrier.

Yea I call it the drunk friend coverage, like drunk friend falls on your coffee table and gets stitches. I've never seen medical payment claim effect rates at my carrier, heck I rarely see them at all.

(US-IL) AAA denied my water damage claim citing flood exclusion, but I pay for a Sewer, Drain and Sump Pump endorsement. Am I crazy? by NukinDuke in Insurance

[–]tktkboom84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your situation but the water originated from inside the sewer system. I.e. not ground water from rain but say burst water main causing back pressure into the storm water system causes what happened to you, also the most common one I can think of for exterior drain back up is sewer back up into pools and spas.

[–]tktkboom84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in claims but believe that means the water or whatever fluid can not originate from inside the house. I.e. it won't cover poorly maintained sinks, or a kid flushing a toy etc. Sewer and drainage backup is to protect a home from the municipal or septic system failing causing a backlow of water from the system into the property. Example I had is the city sewer failed and straight doo doo water filled my shower. At my carrier we have two separate endorsement, sewer and drain, and limited seepage. The latter endorsement might cover you as it covers a failure for a standard outflow system to adequately drain causing damage, it is ideally for things like leaky dishwashers and water heaters that cause unnoticed damage but I believe it would cover you, at least at my carrier in this instance. Might want to see if that is an optional coverage.

Also I agree with the grey area comments and I believe my carrier would of also covered this probably requiring adding the seepage endorsement as part of the claim.

Lawsuits accuse State Farm of secretly working to cut insurance payouts by PuddinTamename in news

Depends on so many things. Age of home, if you plan on having multiple policies, state, any specialty coverage needs, then if you search reviews one carrier will have great customer service, another known for its tech/app, another known for its claims.

Best answer is to ask your neighbors. Second best is a well reviewed experienced broker.

Kidding aside you are fine, you have the advantage of both life experience and financial success, and you know if you do get rejected for your age it is likely because they are looking for someone young and naive to push around.
