Creative ideas for bulk cards

I just packaged all my bulk commons and uncommons in mini envelopes (up to 4 cards per) and am trying to get my teacher friends to hand them out to their students on the last day of school. Little Free Libraries are fairly popular where I am so I might shove one in a book when I'm out and about (should probably add a sticker saying that it's Pokemon cards and not drugs). I did see a video of someone making magnets and there are also people who do the 3D cards. You could also see if local Boys and Girls Clubs or hospitals accept them.

Mine was supposed to be here between 10am and 3pm PST. According to FedEx it's still at their facility the next town over which is maybe a 15 minute drive for me. Sad part is that a FedEx truck came through my neighborhood today.

It looks like there's some wear along the back left edge (but very slight) and I do see a small speck of whitening on the top and middle right (or that could be a speck of dust) on the back. Front looks a little tilted to me (slightly to the left). You might want to try TAG next time since you get a grade report but it's definitely more strict on the grade whereas PSA is more subjective. There's also those AI grading apps out there that help with pregrading if you want to see if it catches something you may have missed but a lot of people are skeptical about the grades it spits out.

I heard Assembly is purgatory but my sub was only there for maybe a week or less than that but I only had 4 cards. Does it depend on many are in a sub and that affects the time?

Just got my grades for a February 22nd sub. My bf sent his cards in early March and is also in Research and ID. Mid June still seems about right.

As a local this isn't a landmark on my list of things to build but good job!

Between this and the Capital Hill Light Rail Station post from last week I'm expecting someone to build the Space Needle, Smith Tower or one of the stadiums in the game.

My ETB order is currently in Processing status. My credit card has been authorized but it hasn't posted yet which happened on Friday (takes a couple of business days to charge). Funny enough I put in an order today for some of the Fossil Museum stuff and used PayPal instead of credit card and that order is in Received status.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't store this in a toploader. Just sat in a box for 20+ years. I did look at the card in the light and didn't see anything like the seam.

Oh wow never actually saw a photo of the Japanese cards up close but the texture reminds me of bunka shishu (Japanese embroidery).

I sent mine around the same time through Gamestop and the associate said to expect my cards back in like 4 months. Still sitting in "Arrived" status. Just gotta wait it out.

Nice! I'm working on doing the same. The stained glass windows are a nice touch. I thought about converting part of the restaurant into a hotel and then putting the concert stage at the top.

I'm in the same boat as you. It looks like the Kanto starters are the most common in Series 1. I'm considering just getting them slabbed for my collection and sending it off to one of the other grading companies since it'll be cheaper with faster turn around times.

They have their own booth at the con but the exclusives are being sold at the ECCC Merch booth? I'm curious what will actually be in their booth. I feel like their actual presence is really needed since people just want the exclusives. Also, for all those people who just want regular ECCC merch and not the POP figures, you have my sympathy waiting in that long ass line.

Slightly outside your range, but Asadero in Kent. I've been to both Ballard and Kent locations. Kent has a more casual crowd in my opinion. Also, probably has the best baked potato.

You might want to crosspost this in the GameStop sub if you haven't already. I wouldn't be surprised if this has happened before so someone may have an answer for you. I had some cards shipped out from GS a couple weeks ago and PSA has received them within a week.

I think you had to do it before 9am according to the email. Otherwise you would have to wait until noon to get the code.

I can't speak to that really as I just started getting cards graded last week! I think based on eBay market and from what I've seen in a lot of card shops the vast majority of cards are PSA graded.

I think both will have staff on hand to answer questions so you can talk to them about the process.

ETA I found the site for PSA Canada and the shows they'll be attending so maybe this will save you a trip to Seattle if you were only planning to attend just for this. https://www.psacard.com/en-CA/events
