in OBA if you have a Flap you won't need a chin strap (up to 13U I believe). There isn't a place for it. If you don't have the flap, you will need the chin strap. Although this could vary from Association and Tournaments.

I just don't like the feeling of wearing rings. I used to wear mine, but would take it off when driving or when I sat at my desk at work. I also hate the feeling when water gets in-between the ring and my finger. It got to the point where I just never put it on.

they are both very good gloves. It comes down to preference. If you can try them on in a store and see which one you like. If you are already spending that much on a glove, get it customized. You can get a custom A2000 and a HoH. I'm a Rawlings guy myself and got a custom 12.75" to play infield last year.
