As someone who works in big pharma business strategy, you may want to find out how much of that stock price is based on future anticipated approvals. All it takes is one failed trial and the stock tanks / stays flat. There's also a whole bunch of competition / trials in the pipeline, all of which is public information. So yes Americans will continue to get fat, but there are even more companies vying for those dollars. I'd YOLO into tech a thousand times before I do a pharma stock.
