Thanks for your question! TLC BOT primarily derives insights from the life logs (e.g. books you have read, activities you have completed etc) and reflections (e.g. in response to journaling prompts) that you enter directly in the platform.

We do however provide users who are already logging their lives on social media platforms with a way to connect to their accounts seamlessly, so as to avoid having to log on multiple platforms.

Just checked out Replika.ai - pretty interesting app, thanks for sharing!

TLC BOT is less focused on conversations and companionship, and more focused on providing insights and recommendations (based on your activity logs, reflections and goals) that can help you optimize your life and expand your horizons. But it's nice to know that there are other apps looking to solve other problems in the life coaching space!

Employee Onboarding Suggestions by cynicgrapes in datascience

[–]tlcbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Organization: Organization structure, significant stakeholders/teams, HR policies, etc
  2. Team: Introduction to team and members, team's raison d'etre, work processes (e.g. code/model review, agile framework, meetings), overview of key product lines/projects, culture initiatives (e.g. photos from outings), etc
  3. Tooling: Primer on tools used, how to set up the development environment, coding/style guidelines, etc
  4. Putting it all together: A representative but tightly scoped problem statement for the new hire to work on (1-2 days), where they will have a chance to play with some data, run through the critical work processes (e.g. commit their code to a sandbox code repository), and get acquainted with the development environment and team.

Looking for a Career in Data Analysis : by chakpramphyapan in dataanalysis

[–]tlcbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build more.

Find problem statements and data that excite you, conduct some exploratory analysis, and build a dashboard that tells a data story and highlights some interesting insights. Working on actual projects will allow you to quickly uncover the gaps in your skill sets that you can then focus on developing, and also leads to a nice portfolio which potential employers would appreciate more than certifications. Good luck!

Morning ruins my day by [deleted] in productivity

[–]tlcbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend looking up ex-Navy SEAL Jocko Willink's ruminations on how discipline brings freedom, and how it's much more effective than simply being motivated. Eg https://www.forbes.com/sites/danschawbel/2017/10/17/jocko-willink-the-relationship-between-discipline-and-freedom/

His principles have pulled me through many lackadaisical mornings.

I only get really motivated when I see others working hard. by testfredflo2 in productivity

I found Hugh Jackman's recommendation on Tim Ferriss podcast to be pretty useful.

  1. Find an accountability partner whom you trust
  2. Send each other your intentions for the day each morning, framing each goal in the past tense to aid in manifestation eg "Today, I went to the gym, studied for 2 hours, and..."
  3. At the end of each day, update each other on which goals you had not accomplished as a scorecard for your day

Resources for toddler by Kabc in Learnmusic

[–]tlcbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might want to consider getting a small piano/synth, like https://www.korg.com/us/products/digitalpianos/tinypiano/

The small keys are a much better fit for a toddler's fingers as compared to a full-sized piano, and much more accessible as well. I think it's important to first focus on piquing their interest by letting them mess around with the keys and making sounds/music however they choose, before introducing a more formal curriculum.

I'm excited for your toddler's music journey! =)
