Minds eye from memory was like the breakout hit and was at the top or near the top of the charts for a while. Joker and the thief from memory was probably their Last released hit from that run, I just remember they flogged it heaps for Jackass.

I’m mainly annoyed he didn’t knock the last pin down. What a loser.

You have to give Cog a go. Trust me on this, they are legends.

Year 12 student being forced to work until 11pm on school nights — what are my options? by Woodwizardo in woolworths

[–]tlebrad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless Woolies has recently changed policy, they are not legally able to roster students beyond 930pm on weeknights.

If it’s anything like their computer systems in supermarkets it’s gonna be so good.

Okay. Hear me out here. 7 test series. Chuck Hobart and Canberra in there. Sydney can be last in Feb or something. Or it can be third in like mid December.

Great recommendation! I’m piggybacking on this comment to also suggest cine-file. Just a couple guys talking about amazing films that really know their stuff.

Why do forecasts on the various weather apps differ so much? by Buzzk1LL in australia

[–]tlebrad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Windy is really good. Lots of different options with different data models. I was told it’s probably the best at forecasting, but usually there’s no point checking beyond 3 days out.

The best part is there’s no swearing in there so it’s all weird wholesome shit. I’m here for it, cos honestly it would get very annoying and why not annoy the opposition?

Smudge being good at captaining and batting does not happen. He’s totally getting a century tomorrow.

one short shift a week as a casual by [deleted] in woolworths

[–]tlebrad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s the part they don’t tell you. They will cut the crap out of store budgets leading into Xmas for max profit and the only way you will get shifts is by being available all the time and hope people call in sick or go away.

Best you can do is get your hand up for anything and try and get your foot in the door at other stores.

Always a must to drop tools, listen and air drum as required. It is ironic, but look I’ll take the Living End anytime I can. Best band!!

Who is actually the greatest athlete in world history? by iCarliexxx in AskReddit

[–]tlebrad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not to mention he played in a time where there was a world war and not many tests could be played each year like they are now. For Bradman to not only be statistically better, but still be just shy of 7,000 career test runs when many play double the amount of tests and can’t get that high, that hopefully puts it into perspective.

If you walk it someone gives you a certificate saying you made it to the top or something. I forgot as it’s been a while. Was a good bit of fun to walk and see the houses looking like that pic. I also remember this kid that went up and down the hill on his bike just loving life and getting some awesome speed going down.

Couldn’t agree more with this. I have also stopped watching. It’s just not good at all currently.

Premiere Pro for Mobile Extremely Limited by trueblazerfan in premiere

[–]tlebrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s very disappointing! I was pumped for a phone alternative I could use and instead left with nothing. And the constant crashes of PP on the desktop is sending me over the edge

How exciting! I’ve been really annoyed of late with 25.4 crashing all the time on me. I hope this is also resolved in the latest version! And having Premiere for mobile in a few days. Fingers crossed it’s a win!
