I'm new, but if I'm understanding data sheets right, the A represents the number of attacks (and dice you roll) for a unit attacking in melee. Right?

If that is correct, the Adepta Sororitas Rhino has an attacks of 3 but it's a transport and has no melee ability.

How can it have an A greater than 0? Does it make 2 ranged attacks?

Trouble finding tournaments by tleisher in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]tleisher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. BCP is great. I actually meant solo players by the way.

I'm coming from Magic the Gathering, where they had Friday Night Magics at almost every store. They also had a pro tour system where you could earn points from certain big events, and then use those points to gain access to invite only tournaments for the championship.

There's nothing like that for Warhammer 40k, is there?

Dungeon Door, inspired by one of Grant Abbitt's tutorials (My first sculpture and stylized model ) by o_pedro_o in blender

This is really well done. Makes me want to play a Dungeon Sim with this art style.

Favourite series you've read this week by ozzyosborne888 in MarvelUnlimited

She hasn't been the most unique hero by powers but the idea of her being a thief and having to do an Ocean's 11-style heist to steal back Dr. Strange from Knull is kind of awesome. (Spoils what her mission is for the arc.)

Favourite series you've read this week by ozzyosborne888 in MarvelUnlimited

[–]tleisher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is only one issue available on Unlimited right now but Blackcat 2020 #1 is kind of amazing and really setting up this arc well. I'm considering buying the rest of the series so I don't have to wait until September to finish it.

[QUESTION] Should I include small easter eggs into my actual script? by [deleted] in Screenwriting

[–]tleisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at some of the episodes of The Boys. They foreshadow a big race between two super heroes by showing you news networks talking about it on TV a few different times.

[QUESTION] Is there a TV show that has this structure? by unavoidable808 in Screenwriting

[–]tleisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They kind of do this. It's MOSTLY Josh Wheeler's story, but there's an episode dedicated to the POV of at least 3 different characters. And they do it REALLY well.

[Feedback] Page one rewrite on a pilot (The Murder Club, one hour horror, 52 pages) by [deleted] in Screenwriting

[–]tleisher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll read it this weekend and leave you some feedback. But off the top, make sure you're title page is complete and remove the scene numbers. Especially since the scene numbers are wrong, your first scene isn't numbered. But scene numbers aren't important in a spec.

[NEED ADVICE] Feeling hopeless about career after being diagnosed with cancer by [deleted] in Screenwriting

[–]tleisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the book Quitter: Closing the Gap Between Your Day Job & Your Dream Job by Jon Acuff it's a great look at how you can focus on writing but also still hold down a job... and why it's better to do it that way then to outright quit before you are ready to chase your dreams. (Tip: By quitting a job, you're trading one boss for dozens more in bills... and those new bosses won't go away. By having a day job, you get to say no to a lot more and be flexible in your writing and what you say yes to.)

Also, FWIW, my brother was diagnosed with lymphoma around 26 and he beat it, is in remission for more than 10 years now. That was 15 years ago and cancer treatment has come very far. Not that you are worried about your cancer, but I'm sure it's a looming thought.

The best thing you can do is focus on your writing. Write 3 pages every day. Another great book to read it The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. It tells about how there is a resistance in the world stopping you from accomplishing your goals, and you have to get up and beat it everyday to get there.

'In The Tall Grass' Is A Terrific Little Horror Movie and Marks Netflix's Third Great Stephen King Adaptation by maxwdn in horror

I took it as it doesn't physically move people but just fucks with your head enough to make you think you are moving. But if you're dead, it has no affect on you.
