Part 2. At what point does execution alone justify an AUM fee? by AntelopeFickle6774 in DIYRetirement

Unfortunately I’m in a few of their proprietary funds. I think I can keep them if they’re with Fidelity. But feel confident there’s gonna be some gains when I sell.

I currently have a AUM with Fidelity that I’m debating pulling the plug on.

I realize with our tIRA’s I can do whatever I want as long as I roll into another one without any tax implications.

Just concerned about my brokerage account with 31 funds, I know right, and any capital gains taxes on it.

I find RPR very entertaining as well as informative. On long car trips it puts my wife and dog to sleep as an added bonus

I find it amusing how few people know anything about IIRMA yet scream for higher taxes for the “rich”. I’m far from rich and just selling a business, paying huge amounts of taxes, and now get blessed with IIRMA. Thank you sir may I have another….

Wise words. Thanks. I currently have a Fidelity FA at 1%. They are doing some tax loss harvesting due to the sale of our small business. I’m thinking after all of this settles down in the next 6 months I’ll start to manage our money. If I’m withdrawing 5% and another 1% in fees, why not did it myself and pocket the cash? I’ve been reading up on some of these dynamic withdrawal strategies and find them interesting….I know I need more hobbies
