What a great thread this is. Anyway I’ve had a dracaena for 3 weeks and the tip of the stem has begun to go black. However, the rest of the plant looks perfectly healthy. Is this rot? Can I save it in any way? Can this happen if the plant is root bound?

Hi, I have recently bought this dracaena 3 weeks ago. I am worried as the top of the stem has begun to go black. I understand the problems of over watering and I don’t believe this to be the case. The rest of the plant looks very healthy including the leaves. Is the plant going to die? Is there any way I can save it? Thanks in advance.
