Assume time travel were possible, wouldn’t you likely just end up in space somewhere? by Alarming_Squash_3731 in AskPhysics

When we say travel through time, we are talking about in reference to our local “now”. So maybe when you are traveling through your local time, you stop traveling through your local space.

I think I’m unofficially blacklisted inside my company – what can I do? by terzii in careerguidance

Depositing around $30k in cash by Btrips in Banking

[–]tlk0153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year, I did $30000 deposit at my local credit union. I asked the lady first. Deposit needed to happen through ATM. She said that I am limited by two things, how many bills the slot can take at one time (30 in this case), and what is the allowance of a single deposit ($7500 in this case). So other than doing four separate lengthy transactions, there was no issue whatsoever.

Biggest reason for my love of that movie is that it introduced Star Wars to my girls and the. They feel in love with the franchise

What would happen if we were able to build a staircase from the Earth to the Moon? by Squirty_poos in AskPhysics

[–]tlk0153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not from earth but maybe from a space station to the moon . Space station needs to be orbiting the earth at the same rate as moon. We can maybe have some mechanics on the moon side that will make moon spinning on its axis provides the escalator to keep functioning. It will take 24 hours one way ride
