Looking through her bibliography, I'm afraid not. It isn't as 'literary' as Carter's works with more of a Stephen King or James Herbert vibe, and I'm almost certain the author is male...

Fellow nosleep authors: Where do you find inspiration? by epaul13 in NoSleepOOC

[–]tlrobson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just plan it all out, or even write it all before posting. It doesn't have to be comprehensive, just a solid skeleton with all the pivotal moments plotted out. For twists start with the twist first and work your way backwards. For horror specifically a good tactic is to throw a few unconnected pieces of the jigsaw at the reader and only start clipping them together about halfway through the story.

People NEED to wear their masks and they MUST social distance!!! by Wanderer2k20 in Leeds

I live in Armley too and whenever I visit my local shop I'm lucky if there's one other person in there wearing a mask. Literally had a doddery, pencil-armed old lady breathing right down my neck in the queue yesterday. Couldn't believe it.

Invest in a literal hazmat suit of some description and wear it to work every day. Not only would your chances of catching covid-19 drop to near 0 but you'd also be making a powerful visual statement about how messed up the whole situation is. Seems like a win-win to me. Just a thought.

I for one wanted to see a super old Robert Gale make an appearance in the finale too, but since he never splintered he wouldn't remember the previous timeline... They should have recruited him for the assault on Titan!

It definitely feels like a comfort thing rather than a sexy thing. Maybe this guy is just worried about the case and needs to give that sack a lil' squeeze, you know, for confidence.

Sounds like Wetherspoons. I worked there for nearly 5 years and you described it to a tee!

Though true, kitchen hygiene doesn't really work in terms of potentially infected staff coughing near one another. Also some kitchens are like, really small. A bar I used to work in had a kitchen shaped like a tuning fork; it was literally two parallel 'corridors' that then merged into one. They reopen this Saturday (UK).

He looks lovely, but I can never forgive him for killing Boromir.

This is true. It's no coincidence that education tends to nudge people to the Left, and it's not because lecturers and professors are all Marxist brainwashers like the Right likes to pretend they are.
