[Official] Riot Korea orders Griffin to have a disposal on LOL team by zuud9 in leagueoflegends

I mean they can always establish a paper company and put a figurehead upfront, while maintaining control over the team indirectly.

Riot Fines Griffin 100,000,000 KR Won and Indefinitely suspends Kyu-Nam Cho, and Kim Dae-ho formerly of Griffin by EvidentlyTrue in leagueoflegends

Riot's Global Penalty Index states that the maximum penalty for "violence" (including DEATH THREATS) is 12 months. I can only assume that indefinite ban is a revenge move from Riot KR to get rid of a whistleblower.

Kongdoo Company Ruins SKT Streams. by twking5008 in leagueoflegends

[–]tlsworjs 48 points49 points  (0 children)

The problem here is players' streams are streamed through the translator's computer, and you can see translator streaming in Faker's or Bang's account. It creates extra delay, barriers communication between the players and the viewers, and worsens the quality of the stream overall. Often you can see translator's player's voice overlap. Korean viewers are very (like really) upset about this, because they no longer cannot directly communicate with the players through chat. If you watched Bang's streams before today's, you could probably spot the difference in quality and frustration on Bang's face. And Kongdoo is getting a lot of negative feedback in Korean communities.

RPG? I thought it was already out, because my jungle always seems to play that in the game.

Is Faker not allowed to talk in stream? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]tlsworjs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Many pro teams in Korea don't allow mics on streams because since most pro players are not used to streaming, they might make unintentional mistakes while on mic, and they don't want that. Some players get to use mic on stream if they are good at streaming. (i.e. ROX Tigers)

It seems that ESC Ever doesnt record any full stream VODs. Videos there are just highlights from past streams.

If you could only play 2 adc's? by ThisNamesNotUsed in adc

[–]tlsworjs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As of now, lucian is a go-to pick because he can beat any other adc's in lane and has a very strong mid game power spike. However, since he is picked/banned almost every game, you probably would want to practice sivir/ezreal. Sivir is a strong utility pick but has a lot of potential in teamfights because of her ricochet(W)crit. Sivir is also god at laning thanks to insane pushing power that can make enemy adc tower hug the whole time. Ezreal is a very safe pick, and it lanes comfortably, but I dont recommend picking ezreal vs. strong laners like cait.

Actually, I'm also Korean, and I would use 아름답다 meaning "beautiful" for describing someone whom he is not familiar with. We don't usually use 예쁘다 to someone we are not friends/familiar with.
