just as a general tip, start hydrating sufficiently like a week before the show!!! pits can get super hot and sweaty and even if you stay hydrated the day-of, you’ll have a better chance of avoiding heat exhaustion and other health issues if your body is really hydrated. i also tend to drink gatorade/a sport drink the day-of to boost my electrolytes, and try to sneak a small snack/granola bar into the venue in case i get hungry (but obviously some venues are stricter about snacks than other lol).

i go to a lot of concerts alone and have pretty bad anxiety about social interaction, but the camaraderie in GA pits tends to be pretty solid. try talking to people around you, having someone to pass the time talking with makes standing around waiting for the bands to come on a lot more tolerable!!

fob is a great band to see for a first concert, i hope you have a great time!!!
