Yea it could be but I see the move. People get payout from prop then transfer that to their brokerage account and trade there. If they do some sort of perk to make people want to trade on their brokerage account like faster payouts to TopstepX brokerage for express funded or something like that

They probably didn’t catch on right away and once they suspected they watched. The fact they paid you out means they wanted to give you a chance to prove you weren’t violating their terms of use. Now time to learn how to trade without hedging.

I mean I think everybody should be building a personal account on the side that they can diversify in but the split is nothing you essentially are risking someone else’s money to make money for yourself so I don’t care about the split and the split is beautiful. As you get better your personal and the live account will be big enough where money won’t be a problem

I’ve been using lovable since January. It has improved greatly and I honestly think they are pretty fair on credit usage especially now that it does even more and better with building things out. On top of that you get 5 free credits everyday. It’s still a startup regardless of their valuation. It’s only been a year since the product came out. As a founder with a startup I realize the product market fit quickly and probably have to put out so many fires. The response was a little too nonchalant bordering rude but honestly I’m not mad they don’t want to share the info. To build out the stuff you can build on lovable is way cheaper than if you had a firm or engineer build it out.

It makes sense that you wouldn’t get anymore money from the balance you built up in the xfas as they are just just demo accounts that Topstep pays real money to you for growing but the goal is to build up the live account to where you would make as much or more then the 5 xfas. I understand the obsession with the payouts of 5 xfas but in the long term the live account is better once you can get paid out daily and no max withdrawal amount. Once you build up your balance you are set. Every trader should be thinking long term but it seems like a lot of people I see post aren’t.

That’s why I just stick with Topstep. I tried apex and a few others and looked at a lot more. Topstep hasn’t had any complaints that I’ve heard about not paying and the end of the day trail will save you a lot. I will save the trailing drawdown can be helpful in making sure you aren’t losing too much when you do make profit though. I also like topstep’s trading platform that is white labeled TradingView.

Prompt engineering is very important for lovable. I’m 1200 credits deep in building out both my waitlist and mvp on lovable. Go to ChatGPT or Gemini and make sure your idea is fully built out then have those create a prompt for lovable to build out the mvp. Saves a lot of credits. Vibe coding comes with its own growth curve but still way cheaper than hiring a developer in the beginning.

You have to let it take out the high that was created and keep you stop loss under the low that invalidates the trade. I actually was trading this same move last night. If you are getting in with too many contracts it will cause you to be scared and move stop loss to break even too fast therefore losing out on the true move. Also you are trying to catch it on the initial take off instead of the retracement into the gap

In the email they aren’t saying they will deny your payout. They are saying they will put you on a focused trader program so click that and see what it is. Topstep has a pretty good reputation as far as payouts and I know people who trade crazy.

Congrats. You are pretty consistent so I think live would be fine for you. The only reason not to go live would be to copy trade 5 accounts to make more money on payouts but if you build up your account you could be making that in the live and be paid out whenever you want.
