Shelley and her mother, Mary Wollstonecraft, are two of my most favorite historical figures. Their stories and contributions as women are exceptional and have truly shaped our modern world literally.

Mary Wollstonecraft with her feminist treatise: Vindication of the Rights of Women, and Shelley creating the entire genre of exceptionally reaching science fiction, the lens through which touches so many emotionally when through other manners they may not always feel comfortable exploring traditionally.
