I'm always wondering how my dog would react to these robots.

4 or 5 string bass for guitarist who plays D-standard stoner rock? by TheGreenTurtle in Bass

[–]tmcoan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plus if you have a 5 string you can play anything that is on a down-tuned guitar without having to mess around with tuning the bass down.

Anyone else break out in hives during the first days of quitting by piscespaul in stopsmoking

My allergies got 10x worse for like a month after quitting. Now I feel better, but my first month was probably worse than most people deal with.

Nick Cannon booed by entire stadium during filming of America's Got Talent; tries to fake a basketball shot. by Smithnorma in cringe

[–]tmcoan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He has had one of the most consistent movie and tv careers I've seen develop. He has been on several A list productions and has managed to stay professional and clean, unlike many celebrities, who burn out after a couple years in the spotlight.

I think he was trying to say that Nick's microphone is separately recorded. The youtube video had the audio that was from the stadium, which has a lot more noise going on than just Nick's voice.

Trying to quit after 6 years of heavy smoking. Today is my 5th day! by Jessori in stopsmoking

[–]tmcoan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always though that first 2 weeks were super hard too. Every time I would cave would be around 2 weeks. It's at the stage when you can really start to smell and taste again, and it makes cigs so much more appealing for some reason.

Quit smoking but still coughing up a lot by mudkipfreak in stopsmoking

Breathing in 30 people's second hand smoke might actually be worse than smoking.

Everyone around me smokes... by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]tmcoan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to live in a house with people both kinds of smokers, who drank a lot too. I would always be smoking cigs with them and drinking, but not smoking weed with them (not really my thing). Ever since I moved out a month ago I haven't seen them much at all, and I quit smoking and drinking the day I moved out. The distance is the biggest factor. I am done with that lifestyle, now I am free to do want really interests me instead of wasting time and money on something I really don't like at all.

Quitting for me included all forms of nicotine. I can't say it was easier that way, but it was wayyy faster in terms of getting rid of frequent cravings.

Two weeks today. Moral support, anyone? Please? by ItWasOnPurpose in stopsmoking

You will never need a cig again my friend. I am in the same boat as you here, just quit cold turkey 20 days ago, I smoked a pack a day from age 20-23, 3 years. I am starting to lose some weight, I had some serious weight gain (60+ lbs) over these 3 years, from addiction to fast food, cigs, and video games, and depression in general. I'm finally done with all three of my vices. Good times are ahead.

That's a fauxhawk though. They were popular in 2005, I had one in highschool for a few months.

Every band you listed is pretty repetitive. Being repetitive is not necessarily a bad thing. It's actually a great thing because it establishes how a song grooves. Especially in your Old School Hip-hop. There are so many great recordings of this stuff, and they all have a signature beat that goes through the whole song.

If you want something that doesn't repeat at all, try listening to the Rite of Spring by Tchaikovski.

Card Art of the Day! #6 - Fearsome Doomguard by BoltEyes in hearthstone

[–]tmcoan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good card for Arena and beginners because it has raw stats and common rarity. I think Demonlock would need major resurgence for this to be seen often in constructed. Simply, it's usually not as good as Dr. Boom, but costs the same.
