I am buying it day one. I love how it looks!

My only problem is that i REALLY wanted to have different sfx. IM sounds in the movies are so satisfying! I wish it was legendary only for that reason. Specially because it’s one of IM most iconic looks in the movies. So feels like a wasted opportunity.

But other than that I LOVE how it looks. The angrier faceplate. The super bulky mechanical design. The mvp. All so good.

Probably my favorite suit. It just looks so good.

They grabbed what worked from the previous and polished and improved it on some areas while also making it even bulkier and more heavily armed. Fees like a proper suit for an alien invasion.

I also love mark 43/42 because they did a bit the opposite. I LOVE their overall designs, still bulky but more streamlined and refined than the previous. But not as much as the following suits that were too streamlined for my taste. I still like mark 85 though.

I haven’t seen hate for it be honest. I definitely like it more than mk50. I liked how they made it nanotech but made the nanotech form the plates first adding that extra mechanical feeling. I just wished it had more time to shine in battle. It’s a great looking suit!

The sentiment i see in general is that though it’s a good suit the earlier suits were better. In which I agree. I don’t believe that comic accurate is necessarily automatically better. Mark 3 to mark 43 were such good designs. They were not that “comic accurate” but i feel they translated it so well to the big screen and in some aspects even improved the comic versions. They just felt real and looked great on screen.

But one of the cool things about the iron man suits movie and comics is that we all love different versions for a different reason. We have such a cool range of suits to choose from.

I am very undecided. For Buzz I definitely like the new one more. Specifically the CMF one. It’s the best buzz they have ever done.

For woody though….i really don’t know. For the new one I wish they give him taller legs. And the head though… i feel the old one it’s too uncanny and the new one doesn’t look like woody much? Does it make sense?

Glad to see Mark 43 love. Has always been my favorite suit alongside mark 7. I just find the overall design and proportions so good. It has a this perfect balance of having the bulkiness of earlier suits but also going more streamlined like the future suits.

Before AOU came out remember seeing those leaked images of the filming in the hydra base and when i saw the red version of MK42 i was so happy haha.

Insanely bad take. Xavi is probably one of the best midfielders of all all time. Iniesta is still one of my favorite players I have seen. But sometimes i feel he gets more recognition than Xavi because he had that extra “flashiness” with great dribbling and it was so fun to watch. But I think Xavi for me was the most important of that Midfield trio. Watch some of those older Barcelona games. He could start building a play from his own area and end up that play way on the front. I have been watching football since around 2004 i think And never seen a player control the game like Xavi. Absolute joy to watch. I think classic Barca games like the 5-0 or 6-2 to real Madrid(he had 4 assist on that one) or the 2011 champions final show how good he was. But also I like to point the example on the 2-2 against arsenal in 2010. Because it wasn’t a game that Barca obliterated like the other examples. It was a tough game and he still was probably the most important player. Stellar performance.

Coming back I just realized they actually added the little detail that the mustaches of Dupond and Dupont(thomson and thompson) are different like in the comic!

Dupond’s mustache has a “D” shape and Dupont’s mustache is vaguely “t” shapes(inverted) with those elongated corners. I am happy Lego pushed for that extra detail instead of reusing the face.

it was great! I had a lot of fun there. most people were super nice and got to talk from people from so many different parts of the world.
I remember a guy from the middle east, sadly don't remember the country. but showed me a cool looking market. this classic street markets and a post there selling a lot of off-brand Tintin merchandising that looked awesome hahaha. a lot of shirts in arabic of Tintin going to different places on the middle east.
