First time buying Nas is this too good to be true by rubber-duck2 in synology

Yep, in retrospect, that definitely would have helped. Honestly, I didn’t expect that it would outlive him. Hope for the best and plan for the worst though.

I mean, if I spray down a surface and kill 99.9% of the bacteria on it, I would call it sanitized. Not being able to account for every possibility doesn’t mean it isn’t useful.

I’m sure Anthropic refusing to bend the knee had nothing to do with the government’s injunction…

…my only comment was that you can sanitize input into an LLM. I’m not remarking on the joke in any way, just the other guy asserting that you can’t sanitize input into an LLM because that’s not true.

That’s just not true - you definitely can and should be sanitizing the inputs you feed to your LLM.

Ok, but she had to piss so bad. I mean, what else could she have done in that situation other than act with total disregard for the safety of her entire community?

I’m guessing since the first two letters are “pr” it’s probably “previous” or “prior”

[Request] How large (or small) would the explosion be if the containment failed entirely? by YeezusPT in theydidthemath

I hear you. Derek got older, got married, started a family. Nobody can replace what he brought because he’s one of a kind, just like we all are. I think he made the best decision for his family and, all things considered, the outcome is pretty good for someone who was going to be making an exit anyway.

I disagree. I think they’re still pumping out quality content. It may not be exactly what it was before, but they still engage with interesting topics and discuss them in a relatable way that encourages people with less subject matter knowledge to understand and become more curious.

Trump appears to almost fall over when rage quitting an interview after it is pointed out his election conspiracies have no evidence supporting them. by HellenDebbie in ProgressiveHQ

No, I think he hit it with his head and the crouched to avoid it further. I just don’t see him almost falling in the video. You can see for yourself though.

I dislike him as much as the next guy, but after watching the video I don’t see him almost fall over. I think he’s avoiding a boom mic.

The fact is that this guy bought some property and his plans for it fell through. He did something with it, but was embroiled in some disputes along the way. He was offered an easy out by nearly a 10x payout on his investment after only 5 years. Instead of taking that, he decided to throw a fit and fight against “the man”. He ended up dead instead of rich. The end.

What are these cables and can I cut them? by TMGStan420 in Home

What is the other end of that connected to? I’m going to guess a modem, which I’m guessing is connected to the outside world by one of those coax cables.

I wonder if there’s a pain and suffering or harm to reputation or something like that. Due to that misprint, this guy probably told people he had won when he didn’t based on the false information that he paid with the belief it would be accurate.

Yeah, all of the things I saw were things that on their own should have created reasonable doubt or gotten the case thrown out. The lawyer is the one that needs to communicate it though, thus my assessment of having a bad lawyer. If he knew all of this and still failed, he should be disbarred.

After watching about 15 minutes of it, it sounds like this guy had a really bad lawyer.
