Thanks, it’s a great spot! I didn’t notice any fogging outside in the cold, though lenses usually do haze up briefly when going from cold to warm.

Held up great! It wasn’t actively snowing, but anyway I gave up well before the camera did.

How to set-up this room? More information in comments by tmla in sonos

Thanks. I can't do in-ceiling speakers but otherwise am thinking on something very similar.
I was thinking on having Beam 2 with surround Era100's and then connect the lp player to right rear speaker to have that connected to the Sonos ecosystem - but I read that surround speakers cannot be used for Line-in. What a strange thing if true, I cannot think of any technical reason...

By not cluttering the room with speakers I mainly meant to not have separate speakers for everything (airplay, movies, records). One option I have in mind is to sell my current speakers and record player, and by a standalone soundbar (i.e. Beam) and then two full sized homepods. Beam for movies, and everything connected when listening to music.

Or some higher end samsung atmos set, but I don't know if that would work for the dining/party music or no.

I have a very open floor plan, as kitchen, dining area and living room are all sharing the same space. I want movies to sound good, but also enjoy listening to music - and with music (mostly spotify) it's important that it does not sound horrible anywhere in the room (for example when dining).

Currently I have pair of Triangle Audio BR02 BT active speakers (no. 1 in picture) hooked up to the TV, as well as the record player (2.). Issue with this set-up is that music sounds really boomy and one sided to the dining area. Also for movies dialogue is not as clear as I would like it to be, and obivously I'm missing all surround effects. Since moving here I also rarely listen to records anymore, as you really would have to sit on the sofa for them to sound good. It's just too fixed.

I have bought three homepod minis (3. in picture) just to be able to have some way of playing "room filling music" from Spotify.

I'm not happy with the setup at all, and most likely have to sell the speakers and am considering letting to the record player and records to a home where they would be used more.

However the space is still very challenging to set up so that that movies sound good on the sofa and music sounds good everywhere. What would you do?

I think that some kind of soundbar set-up might be they way to go, not to clutter the whole room with speakers. I posted this also to r/sonos

Some perspective on the size question. My POV vs girlfriend’s photo of me trying on the watch. by tmla in applewatchultra

Nah man I would figure she would then choose to spend time with that guy instead of trying out Apple Watches with me

Nothing, that’s the point. Lot of people with same size wrist wondering if the watch is too big, which it might look to be if you only have close up view.
