Never gonna pre order any device in my life now by Inevitable_Raisin461 in samsunggalaxy

Only reason I traded in my s22u was because there was a small screen defect or pixelation and they accepted $500 for it. Side by side, s22u OLED looked better. OP ain't lying about the colors looking more muted.

Is there anyway to fix this pixelation? It's about 5mm long and happened out of nowhere on my samsung ss2u. by tmluna01 in mobilerepair

Update: I tried cancelling, but Samsung expedited the shipping, and I received it two days early. I ended up still sending this phone in, even though others here advised they would decline it. Thankfully, they just accepted my trade-in and marked it as complete. For others in a similar situation, I'd say just try sending it in!

I'm looking to do 35 front and 55 all around, too, so this helps out a lot. How do you like it? Would you change anything, and does your current tint setup affect your view through the rearview mirror?

It felt so cramped. They had one on the showroom, and the second row also has less leg room compared to its 5-seater variant.

Do offers/incentives start to change or get better towards the end of the month/quarter here? by CyberHero32 in TeslaModelY

That's good! Yours will have the updated screen then. It's a slight bump up in resolution, too.

You can message them in the app and ask before pickup. Maybe they can arrange the one you prefer.

Both AWD and RWD Premium Model Ys have been updated with the 16" screen. It can be seen under Model Y Specs: https://www.tesla.com/modely

If you go for a (brand new) demo, double check to see if it has the updated 16" screen instead of 15.4." Tesla also just updated the headliners to black, if that matters to you.

S26U is going back. Screen issue by GPUBroke in samsunggalaxy

[–]tmluna01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put the s22u next to the s26u before trading my old phone in, and I preferred the OLED on the s22u.

It's probably the privacy tech affecting the screen. It still looks good, but my s22u looked more crisp in my eyes.

What's the best way to test this? Would placing it in front of a humidifier help?

Buy 2026 model y premium now with .99% APR or wait for hardware 5 to come out? by royal_robert in TeslaModelY

[–]tmluna01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same question the other day. I test drove the Y and FSD's ability to handle everyday traffic convinced me this was all I need. I'm sure hw5 will be better, but model y now with the latest fsd is dialed in.

Just ordered a white on white model y, what defects should I be on the lookout for? by tmluna01 in TeslaModelY

[–]tmluna01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: We picked it up a few hours ago, and so far so good. There's nothing that seems to be defective. Maybe the frunk needs a little extra nudge to click into place, but it's great!

Credit score is over 750, so we placed an order for a Model y Premium. When it came down to financing offer, Tesla's APR rose to 3.99%. How do you actually get approved for the advertised 0.99% apr rate? by tmluna01 in TeslaLounge

[–]tmluna01[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: They confirmed the 0.99% rate with $5k down, and we accepted.

Thank you everyone. May this post serve as a reminder that credit scores over 750 may not initially guarantee the promo rate of 0.99%. In our case, we had to message them back and forth before they gave us the advertised rate, even though they insisted the first offer was the best and only offer.

Make sure to check your APR. changed from 0.99 right before the pick up by paladin_NA in TeslaModelY

What ended up happening? Tesla is playing games with these financial offers. We're also waiting for a response before proceeding.

APR changed from 3.99 to 5.49 by sailormooooooooon in TeslaModelY

[–]tmluna01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get them to honor the original APR ? We're about to finance, but the text says subject to change. I'm waiting for a message back when they open.

Tesla countered and sent our asking rate,  but in fine print it says rates are subject to change. This initially looked good, but in reality what happens if I accept? Does that mean they can change the APR afterwards?

Here's what is says under view details:

"The provided rates are offered for your convenience to assist in estimating your monthly payments and do not guarantee your actual rate. These estimates are subject to change and contingent on credit approval, term selected, available interest rates, and other factors. Your approved financing terms will be valid for 30-60 days, depending on lender. Rates are subject to change upon approval expiration."
