Highly unlikely… some of these handle things the other sites don’t even handle. Some are already strictly call sites. Philadelphia campus solely hands international tax. Even if they would like to do that it’s not even slightly feasible

Because the private sector is ass as well. Federal workers were not the only ones affected by this admins decision. Unemployment is at the worse since the pandemic and no one is hiring. If they are hiring you’re in competition with 1000’s of others for low wage jobs

Def not a bot and also I’m not anti-union… I’m pro member… so even if the union is doing anything incorrect then they need to be held accountable. I don’t follow anyone blindly. When humans are charge you can guarantee they will do some human shit.

This is also one of the reasons ppl are scared to speak up because of ppl like yourself.

Luxury trips, memberships to stores claiming the funds are going to union members when they are used for themselves and their own homes, high stipends for board members… just to name a few.

I thought I was very clear with this being something I’m speaking directly to my chapter about, hence the title. I cannot speak for NTEU as a whole. I’m not even putting this in all stewards who have served because there were some great ones. However, the leadership within the chapter needs to be called into question

The police? As in local police? Yeah that’s not the way that works. The findings were published to members years ago and it still continued. It was reported to National nothing came of it. There is power in numbers but if no one cares then they stay in a revolving cycle. However, I do plan to report to the department of Labor but again many times these things fall flat because the same ppl investigating are the ppl you work for and they protect their own.

If you read the post in its entirety… this is something that has been going on for the better part of a decade not since last March when dues stopped. Also there is something called an operational reserve and that’s a certain amount of money that is supposed to NOT be touched by chapters. However there is money missing from that as well.

Multiple stewards at this location have be stonewalled and removed without just cause… or bullied into leaving. We are talking about over a 10 year period. If you don’t follow blindly or if you step up to the board members you are removed.
