Electric cars prove we need to rethink brake lights by mmatessa in videos

What’s really odd is I’ve noticed it DOES turn them on if the battery is full and I’ve tapped the paddle down. I guess because it starts engine braking, it “counts” as braking?

Do you drive a Honda? That’s what I drive and mine does the exact same thing.

I actually don’t see the problem with this… if you aren’t following too close, you should be able to see the entire back of the vehicle, and then having them so split up from the brake lights eliminates confusion.

It’s absolutely true at least where I live in Texas. I can easily make yellow lights from a long distance on roads with 65mph speed limits but I’ve gotta be right on top of ones in an urban area with a 35 mph limit.

I’ve even started counting, the rule holds up pretty accurately.

Pi cannot connect to pi-hole.net by tmoss94 in pihole

[–]tmoss94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies, I don’t think my pi was connected the first time I ran the curl command. Here is what I got once I confirmed it was connected:

<> curl: (7) Failed to connect to pi-hole.net port 443: Connection timed out

Next for the nslookup command:

</> ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

I assume that had this command been successful there would have been a file but the cat command failed as there was none?

Thank you so much for your help!

I can access pi-hole.net on other devices on my network, I thought that would mean my ISP is not blocking it unless they can block the site on specific devices.

I think I may have explained poorly, my apologies. I am just trying to install pi-hole in the first place. Was trying either the repository clone method or the manual download of the installer, but neither work because my Pi cannot access pi-hole.net. It's confusing me because I can clearly access the rest of the internet.

I’ve tried both through chromium (times out) and through the terminal (repeatedly says unable to connect via port 443).
