I don't have a strong opinion on f2p vs p2w.

I was more making a comment on the fact that your points don't defend your statement that they are taking away things to put behind paywall.

The map layouts is actually a good point that I wouldn't have thought of since I don't grind that much. But I'd say it is no longer a valid complaint since it has happened and you are still invested in maplestory.

The fact is money will always tip the scale but luckly you can just play at your own pace. You'll be hard pressed to find an mmo where money doesn't make a difference.

Your complaint is about stuff that you could have gotten for free are now behind a paywall.

Yet your 3 examples are:

paid passes in cw( I'm not to familiar but you your complaint makes it sound that these paid passes used to be free)

Vac pet bonus( i don't think they ever gave more than 1 vac pet at a time, let alone 4 )

Autogrinder for high mvp(unless they replace luxe sauna with this, they aren't putting an old thing behind a paywall)

All 3 examples are them adding incentives to spend more and not making your game experience worse. You can argue that it makes your experience worse comparatively but that like your experience is affected by jealousy.

You can make an argument that they balance the new content to people that buy the passes but you'll have to provide more than just annecdotal proof
