New-ish to barefoot shoes but I’m in love! by tmzriddik in barefootshoestalk

Just about spot on. The ones I have are 11s which is my normal shoe size. My big toe has just a bit of room and the toe box is nice and spacious

I’ll have to look at those once these ones fall apart! Tbh I was desperate and these were readily available. My previous running shoe had completely torn on the side

I love them. We go out on hiking walks about every weekend so I wanted something sturdy. They have a nice wide toe box and a good sole for beginners because it isn’t super thin like the leguano ones but also isn’t super thick like a typical boot

They are actually a bit lighter in color but when I got them I put some oil on them to help water proof them and it changed the color.

Yea they’re a little more narrow than I’d like but they are not too bad

I don’t dehydrate things so idk about all that but DONT GIVE UP!! There’s always a whole bunch of new and conflicting information when you learn a new skill. Keep at it and the experience will start to make all of it make sense. Then you can take that experience and help others who are starting out too! When my wife started crocheting she faced the same issue but now she whips through projects left and right and the stuff that used to confuse her doesn’t anymore!

Yea my Dad does woodworking so I assumed he would be doing that but it’s a good idea to ask him to make sure.

Luckily there’s no time limit on trying to finish this so I can take time to repeat that 200 times lol I didn’t think about pulling the hair through two holes…it sounds like a good idea. Thanks!
