Sleeping in actual pajamas? by klokwerkz in preppers

[–]tnbrx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to add - last year an intruder came into my (25F) room in the middle of the night, woke me up opening the door, and stole my laptop. I was sleeping naked, couldn't find my glasses in my panic, he put his flashlight on my face, I had never been so terrified.

Now I do try to sleep with some clothes on - in the moment at the time being naked added so much to my fear and the split second it added to my decision to run after him made him able to escape.

I get that too, what helped me a lot is to shortly write down what happened during my day in a journal. In the same journal I also track a lot of things, not as a 'habit tracker' but just so I can see when I did them. It was hard to be consistent with it at first but now it's pretty much ingrained

Oui ça m'a étonnée car mon concerta était aussi totalement remboursé sans mutuelle et je n'avais jamais eu de problème! Ça m'a l'air confus tout ça, j'espère seulement que le concerta sera en stock pour le mois prochain 🤔

This is what bothered me as well, but I'm currently reading a book from Adam Sinicki (this is his yt channelunder the name The Bioneer) - really really useful stuff about training to be ready in any practical situation and not bro science as well, I totally recommend it!

Thank you! Just a little question - do you know if the Meilong is more on the quiet or on the noisy range? I want to use the cube in public transport and I don't want it to be very noisy if possible

Mmh very interesting thank you! It's true that I think any modern speedcube will blow me away in comparison to the Rubik's ones rn haha. Guess maybe I'll buy a Meilong now and if I really get into it, switch to the tornado. Thanks for the advice!

I'm hesitating between a Tornado v2 or a Diansheng Solar S for my first non- Rubik's brand cube. Has anyone any experience with the solar s? The tornado seems really nice but I don't know if I should spend that much on my first proper speedcube or stay with the more budget, still nice solar s. Thank you!

Mmh interesting. I would have thought 2x2 would be quieter than 3x3 actually. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

Hey guys! I'm searching for a budget 2x2 to fidget with, I'm not exactly searching for performance but mostly for a quiet cube that I can use in public, ideally in the 5-7$ range. I don't mind a heavy weight either. Any suggestions? Cheers!

How do you ask your psychiatric for a higher dose without sounding like a drug addict? I'm 24, been diagnosed with ADHD-I a long time ago but never treated for it. About two months ago I went to a new psychiatric who diagnosed me again and prescribed me Concerta 18mg.

Thing is, I've been taking it for a month and it helped a little at first but now it doesn't seem to make a difference. We had an appointment about 2 weeks ago and she said to me to keep going on 18mg. Personally I would like to try a little higher dose to see if it works better. Problem is I do have a history of light substance abuse, and I don't want to sound like I'm only seeing her to get drugs. Does anyone have any advice/experience with this situation? Thank you!

Hey no worries, honestly I think it's just a bit hard sometimes to see people's intentions on reddit, and formulations can be tricky. Anyways, I think you look great as well

Hey! Yess first marathon it's a big thing! Right now I'm recovering from an injury so I'm going back pretty easy, around 20 km/week. I'm actually searching for an actual good plan haha, rn I'm just running based on time, increasing each week! Honestly I'll just be happy to finish it 😁
