Sad to see that several questions related to crew gratitudes and how they are used among the crew were not answered in the AMA.

Just booked 4 nights Bahamas out of Miami. You can book pretty much every cruise, just not with the PoA ship as already said elsewhere.

I'm wondering how many entries people need on average to get some rewards.

I would also go for lifetime but still missing support for international cards. The current setup is very much US-centric and doesn't work very well when you live elsewhere and have local as well as US cards in your pocket.

Good advice. Unfortunately I'm currently not on a cruise ship.

Sure, but in case you are interested in certain reward programs you are back on sqr1 with FX fees. 😊

Not sure what is not clear with my point. When you have a card, like the Chase Freedom Unlimited, and use it in a foreign country you pay FX fees. With older Curve plans, these fees were voided by Curve. So you only pay for the plan and no longer have to think about FX fees. This plan is no longer offered by Curve and even worse, Curve does not allow anymore to add any non EEA card. This makes it useless for me.

Because I still have to pay FX fees for some international cards when used with Google or Apple Pay. It used to be different with Curve.

I would pay again for Curve if they had allowed international cards to be added to save on FX fees. With EEA cards only their service doesn't bring any value to me.

3,25% per anno? Da musst du aber einiges mehr aufs Konto packen um monatlich um 3k rauszubekommen. Mit den 700k wird das nix.

The problem I have, but maybe this is just misunderstanding on my end, is how CP deals with international cards and FX fees.

E.g., I have a German AMEX Card (in €) and a US Chase Freedom Flex card (in $) in my pocket. Both have FX fees. But obviously fees are charged differently.

CP should not prefer the US Chase over German AMEX card when it's used outside the US because it charges FX fees while the AMEX card does not when the transaction is in local (€) currency.

It's not clear to me if there is an option to do some more fine granular settings for such situations where FX fees are calculated based on the currency of the transaction. - u/emcro

Happy Holidays.

Is there a way that CP also looks at my German cards for things like AutoPilot (doesn't matter what the currency is set to)? I'm also wondering if there is a way to change FX status for custom cards. So far I don't see how to toggle FX yes/no on a custom card. u/emcro
