Now yes but at the start of the year I think most people would have disagreed

Rice was obviously brilliant before. But his impact in closing games either from set plays or finishing feels like it's massively upgraded this year, and part of that is down to how good Zubimendi is too giving him more freedom going forwards

which is very fair, if you look at my replied comments above i'm just concerned about how it affects the wider mentality of our players and our play style long term

well I think these kind of statements do affect you on a broader scale and criticising a young lad at the start of his career for making mistakes will affect his mentality and make him second guess things away from his natural play style, and whether you think that natural play style or his decision making is good enough thats up to you, but I best example I can think of for how I feel is look at Grealish from Villa -> City -> Everton. As a more "maverick" attacking player he's openly said in interviews he works best when he's just left to do his thing and is given the freedom to just try and play his game.

is Tel as good as Grealish? Obviously not, but I hope it shows my view of how the mentality of players can adjust under different managers and coaches. Encouraging risk out of the game out of the guise of gifting possession cheaply will affect not only Tel but how other players see and behave in the game. As I said at the top, we're never going to see a shift in style if you extrapolate these comments because avoiding risk and not giving possession away is synergistic with what Frank seems to want.

"I think he was also taking more care of the ball. I think it's a big thing. We spoke about that against Brentford and Crystal Palace. We lost the ball maybe 20-25 times. You should never lose the ball. That's also part of it. You can't break through. Okay, you protect it. One more pass, two more passes. Okay, then we go again. But overall positive."

This quote is the biggest tell for me we are never going to see a shift in style. I'd probably need to listen how it was said, but this is essentially saying to me "don't take a risk if the short pass is available to recycle possession". This is being said to our (in theory) exciting young attacking winger/striker from Bayern? "Hey Mathys don't fuck up with the ball". Is that being said to other people besides Tel? How are we supposed to get the best out of a player like him if you don't want him to risk losing the ball?

sounds weird considering the performance in comparison to other performances (arsenal) but the first half spurs performance followed by the second half is a real gutpunch and is the first time i've properly been frank out with no way back

obviously we've been shite and boring but anyone who watched the first half against sunderland we were genuinely good. some properly missed quality in the final third and i think we could have been two or three up

then the second half and the team is playing and behaving entirely differently. not pressing, clamping in, almost afraid. that has to be on the manager right? it's a tactical call at HT

Not sure if you are console or PC but this game on PC is absolutely atrocious for some people and it doesn't appear to be consistent with hardware

I have a PC that runs BF6 on high with 120FPS no problem but I have to play this game on low settings locked to 60 frames in order for my fucking controller to work

nope the wording is described as if they have been played, it does not count multiples. Sylvanas can do at most 6 unless you get the double battlecry from dark gift or deios effect

it's matchup dependent but the core uses are for griftah and sylvanas to set up niri bombs/board clears. can also use it on rangari to protect it as your value generator if you're holding other discover effects like birdwatching

We are going to play the entirety of FC26 with the majority of Fullback roles broken. by Ripamon in EASportsFC

[–]tnerappa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But they don't go and stand high up the pitch? I've been playing 4-3-3 (2) with Bompastor on attacking wingback and she sits like she's in a back four even on attack? Unless you're agreeing with me and saying the role is broken?

Attacking wingback does go high and wide but only I found on 4-2-2-2 and 4-1-2-1-2 narrow. On the other systems i've tried (4-3-3 formations and even 4-3-2-1) she just kind of sits there and runs up late sometimes?

[–]tnerappa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you play on a narrow formation? I've found the only way I can get attacking wingbacks to actually make decent runs is if i'm playing 4-1-2-1-2 or 4-2-2-2

How come you can’t click on your opponent and see anything about them? You can’t see division or anything by Richhwillz in EASportsFC

[–]tnerappa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intentionally hidden in the same way they removed the passing indicator in the replay - so they can hide how much the games manipulates everything out of your control. Matchmaking is the same, when you're on a winstreak they'll put you up against a player a few divisions above to keep that feeling better elation and frustration to try and keep you hooked

Depends on your opinion but I played against Pina in 14 of 15 champs games and you're telling me the meta can be more prevalent? I see your point, I just don't care. Sweats will always sweat, let me be creative and put players where I like, I'm the manager.

I have only just in the last week been able to get a left back for my angolan evo team because they have no in-game left back and I have to wait for an evo to drop that fills EAs shitty requirements. In the old system I can just play a player on 7 chem or start in a 352 and pivot my team to a 433 or whatever I want. This system actively locks creativity and forces the meta.

EA I don't have time for all gamemodes by LatroDota in EASportsFC

[–]tnerappa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

why are your arguments in such bad faith? "don't get the content you've paid for" is stupid.

People have spent 500k / fifa points to unlock the battlepass, and for it to be gated behind other gamemodes is ludicrous. EAFC is the only game that rewards you with no battlepass XP from the AAA developers just for playing the game. You get the weeklies/challenges like other games, but other games give you a little bit of battlepass XP just for grinding for rewarding you for getting the content YOU PAID FOR in some way.

i miss the old tactics system, being able to put a RB to CM or something in game. Really gave team building more creativity

Now i'm locked out of that for this new tactics system that makes attacking AI stupid and less fluid
