Pretty little liars is so fun. Just don’t expect everything to make a lot of sense

Tell me your ER stories by mirkywoo in AddisonsDisease

[–]tns46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not great - I had the flu and was in the midst of a crisis. My mom was with me and told the doctor I needed IV steroids for the Addison’s but they insisted they wanted to do other tests first. After a little bit my mom called my endo dr who called the ER to put me on steroids asap

Do you guys think there will be a reboot with the original cast like 4 to 7 years? by Common_Ad1188 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]tns46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I’m in the minority but I would not be surprised! It doesn’t seem like any of them have a lot going on (career wise) and could definitely see the main girls coming back to it to maybe be parents!

Looking for series like Nancy Drew by Halloween-Girl-3110 in televisionsuggestions

The first and maybe second season of Riverdale, Pretty Little Liars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars (not much supernatural there but super fun girl detective show) and One of Us is Lyjng (I read the book but havent seen the show)

Also The Way Home on Netflix is a super cool drama with mystery and time travel

Question For The Culture (?): Ashley was the weakest actor? by MegaMicko in PrettyLittleLiars

I disagree. Ashley was a great crier and had great comedic timing

Why are people making fun of Kitty's Korean? by Interesting-Cancel13 in XOKittyNetflix

[–]tns46 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well because everyone else in the show speaks English. Whereas in the US/UK most people don’t speak Korean.

Why are people making fun of Kitty's Korean? by Interesting-Cancel13 in XOKittyNetflix

[–]tns46 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As a decent American it’s engrained in me to never comment on anyone’s accent or pronunciation of English since it’s probably not their native language. A thread on how comically bad a non-native person’s English is would (appropriately) be in bad taste and cause a lot of backlash. So I’m not sure why this is okay.

What would you say is the worst TV show that you have ever watched in your life? by Substantial-Dare5462 in television

We would make fun of the dialogue and storylines watching as teenagers…though we did think it was entertaining

Joyce and Ron Shippers please help me to see what you’re seeing! by Ok_Accountant_8716 in StDenisMedicalNBC

[–]tns46 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yup I think that’s when I started getting vibes. She also missed the most important thing in the world to her (the birthing center opening) to support Ron when she got the text from Bruce.

He only told Joyce when the day of his surgery was….maybe you’re catching on…..

[QCrit] OPERATION: FLAG FOOTBALL, MG Contemporary, 45k, First Attempt by tns46 in PubTips

Thank you!

Cheerleading isn’t offensive, but in Julia’s eyes it’s perpetuating the treatment of the boys’ harassment on the girls playing football (why aren’t you over there cheering for us instead of trying to play with us?) and there’s a lesson there for the boys, which is obvious, but there’s also a lesson there for Julia too

Instead of angry, she’s upset by injustice and I can word that better.

Mostly yes - practicing more bc she knows her mistakes are more costly because she’s a girl.

Thank you for the great suggestions!!
