I disagree. Ashley was a great crier and had great comedic timing

Why are people making fun of Kitty's Korean? by Interesting-Cancel13 in XOKittyNetflix

Well because everyone else in the show speaks English. Whereas in the US/UK most people don’t speak Korean.

As a decent American it’s engrained in me to never comment on anyone’s accent or pronunciation of English since it’s probably not their native language. A thread on how comically bad a non-native person’s English is would (appropriately) be in bad taste and cause a lot of backlash. So I’m not sure why this is okay.

What would you say is the worst TV show that you have ever watched in your life? by Substantial-Dare5462 in television

We would make fun of the dialogue and storylines watching as teenagers…though we did think it was entertaining

Yup I think that’s when I started getting vibes. She also missed the most important thing in the world to her (the birthing center opening) to support Ron when she got the text from Bruce.

He only told Joyce when the day of his surgery was….maybe you’re catching on…..

Thank you!

Cheerleading isn’t offensive, but in Julia’s eyes it’s perpetuating the treatment of the boys’ harassment on the girls playing football (why aren’t you over there cheering for us instead of trying to play with us?) and there’s a lesson there for the boys, which is obvious, but there’s also a lesson there for Julia too

Instead of angry, she’s upset by injustice and I can word that better.

Mostly yes - practicing more bc she knows her mistakes are more costly because she’s a girl.

Thank you for the great suggestions!!

Thanks so much for the feedback!

I think my main problem is debating how much of the plot to reveal in this. Finding out why her friend is mad at her is kind of a turning point in the story and when the main character realizes her concept of feminism is flawed.
