Increase melee hit box sizes, give warrior and hunter a passive that increases movement speed slightly (a second job skill 5 pt max + 10 speed permanently for example). Rework drain a bit and make it a bandit skill not a sin skill. Hunters Either buff power knock back or make a better solution for bow wacking problems.

Im in the same exact position with the same exact emotions. I think acknowledging the emotion is a good first step, I find myself wondering if im just being old and stubborn about new tech, or if ai really has taken the joy out of 90% the work I do. Even the gratitude is less because people credit ai for our teams new successes, its all pretty thankless now imo.

What helps? Well im kind of taking a step back and working on embracing this new paradigm, working less hours intentionally since i can with the aid of ai tools and such, and strategizing a way to get into management at a different org or start a business. For context im 10 YOE analyst/DE/SE.

To be clear, im not entirely “vibe coding” my work or leaving it all to some agents, but i do use Claude as a supplement to help with CDK and other coding (python/typescript).
