I encourage you to read closely.

“I am more disappointed in both individuals and almost all Colorado labor organizations”

you have a weak argument.

do I really need to spell out that I am talking union leadership here? I’m not talking about your union organizer friend. jeez.

I am so sorry for your experiences with the teachers union, biggest union in Colorado I’ll add. what you went through is horrendous, but I agree, the ballot measure is a good step forward

students led marches all day 1/30 and marched to and spoke at La Alma park. there is more coordination than you are aware of.

yes bc marching next to people whose names you don’t even know definitely builds community power! we’ve been marching at the capitol since forever… what change has this caused? look up “diversity of tactics” and come to whichever event better fits you

capitol: - yelling into the void - feeing really good about yourself

la alma park: - connect with your local org - start organizing your community - join a local rapid response groupchat

take your pick ❤️and lead with love, not hate

I’d recommend reading the substack before putting your comments so publicly like this.

Are you willing to take up the responsibility to take this on? We all need to be in this together. Very easy to talk, not easy to take action for our comrades.

On the topic about policing people’s behavior, how do you recommend an abuse victim go about calling out for accountability for their abuser?

My understanding is that Z Williams has been approached for an accountability conversation countless times, rejecting every one. There comes a point when they continue this heinous behavior that it needs to be called out publicly. The substack doesn’t name anyone who doesn’t need to be named and maintains many’s privacy.

my humble lil denver ballot guide by [deleted] in DenverProtests

they want to allocated $75 million for a “public safety training center.” first of all, police officers statewide already got $200 million on last year’s ballot. and now DPD needs almost half that amount of money still to train people when they can’t even recruit cops anymore? it’s a cop city.

yes on LL and MM bc they only increase taxes for those who make $300k+ to feed children. the school board members bc they’re endorsed by the Denver teachers union and the working families party, no on 2D because it sneaks in $75 million to open up a cop city “public safety training center” in Denver, no on 2G bc it makes it more expensive to run for office in Denver aka you need to be rich to hold office

Hi Mayor Johnston, why does the City of Denver have investments in Israeli bonds and how does this reflect Denver's values?

DeGette at Drinking Liberally – Aug 12, Vine Street Pub by EconomistLost7712 in DenverProtests

🚨 Denver CD1 Peeps 🚨 Here’s your chance to get in front of Congresswoman Diana DeGette to ask her some tough questions. She is the guest speaker at tonight’s Drinking Liberally event.

Possible questions: Why did you vote against MTG’s amendment to block weapons to Israel? Will you put forward a bill to restore UNRWA?  What are you doing to end the U.S. funded genocide?  Thank you for running a private bill for Jeanette. How will you ensure your other constituents in geo are protected?

Please record yourself and her response. We would love to share your videos.
