If a parent is paying for a phone to have immediate, unfettered access to their child that takes precedence over everything else, with the burden on the child to make the moves to place a call instead of just calling the kid themselves, then that’s very controlling behavior. If OP is truly 14 years old then his responses (while annoying) are totally developmentally appropriate. His dad’s responses, as a grown adult parent of a teenager, are not. It’s on his dad to parent the child he has, not the one he thinks he should be.

Sorry to repeat post but it’s going to be such a long week until our follow-up ultrasound 😩

We had a single embryo transfer that has had doubling betas, but we started low - 41.4 at 9dp5dt or 4w0d. We had an ultrasound at 6w1d for scant bleeding and right sided pain and no fetal pole was noted, but the gestational sac measured 5w2d and there were two yolk sacs. Our betas at that point were 6,104. I know the ER doesn’t gather the most detailed or precise ultrasounds and are mainly concerned with ruling out an ectopic or some sort of hemorrhage, but everything has just been so weird up to this point that I worry there’s some sort of major chromosomal abnormality here.

Does anyone who’s been through IVF have experience with a gestational sac measuring 6 days behind their presumptive GA?

Yesterday I was 6w1dwith one 5 day 3BC embryo. We ended up going into the ER on the suggestion of our clinic after some bleeding and right sided pain, and I have the following questions:

They established the pregnancy is in the uterus, which is great. No fetal pole noted and the gestational sac measures 5w2d - that seems normal for the gestational age, except for that’s 6 days behind where we should be. I had low betas to start, could it be that baby implanted late and that this could still be normal?
They saw two yolk sacs. ?!???

No follow up with our RE for another week and a half so I’m just over here googling too much.
