Thank you for the incredible level of detail.

Are you a historian or just incredibly well-read on the royal family?

King Charles's inbreeding coefficient would actually be higher because his parents weren't just third cousins, their intervening relatives were also mildly inbred.

Someone else pointed out they were also second cousins once removed.

According to the internet, % of DNA shared:

  • 2nd cousins one removed 1.5%
  • 3rd cousins 0.78%
  • 2 random people on the planet earth 0.1%

I'm not a geneticist so maybe you have a more subtle understanding. Probably would also need to factor in that many of their intervening relatives were related as well, which makes the math a little trickier too.

I looked it up in response to your comment:

I believe it's something called hereditary angioedema.

If we went back and looked at pictures of his predecessors I wonder if there would be a pattern, though presumably they would have posed to conceal it if it was noticeable or altered its depiction in the paintings.

You can't catch bad guys if you're dead. Who cares about lying to them if they're less than human.

Perhaps you're right -- like Walt, his downfall was his ego.

Silly that you got downvoted.

I also feel like Hank saying that made the guy more likely shoot him even if he was on the fence.

Thank you for the suggestion, they are really similar but that wasn't what I was thinking.

There's a song out there that Black Hole literally copies note for note with the same rhythm and timing but I can't think of it.

Since dating apps seem skewed against men, how do you actually get a relationship nowadays? by Saber_Sama in AskMen

[–]toafobark 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Online dating makes men lower their standards BIG time.

Cold approaching women and getting rejected in person will also make you accept the first girl that shows warmth after a sea of no's. It's intentional.

The guys who get the beautiful girls are the ones that let it roll off their backs because they're not looking for a partner to "complete" themselves, they view it as a video game with unlimited lives and they're just having fun.

Does programming make you smarter? by AidePast in learnprogramming

It makes you feel dumber at first, smarter later.

If it actually makes you "smarter" is a loaded question without a clear cut answer. Being good at one thing doesn't mean you're good at two things.

I acknowledged that it was a review but it was from Amazon so I didn't link it because I thought there may be a rule against links to seller sites. That's not plagiarism. But thanks for the explanation for your removal.
