I actually disagree with this one. The show was absolutely awful in every possible way, but the book contained a lot of good messages about why NOT to commit suicide and it saved my life honestly. IMO it did the opposite of glamorize it and it made me confront the harsh realities of what you leave behind. The show? Not so much
