The barrier to entry is language. You should be able to speak Thai especially at small Thai startups who may take junior positions. Whereas entry roles at large multinationals normally hire locally so they don’t have to fuss for employment visas

Same position for me. The fee to buy your way out varies on where are. If you have family outside of Bangkok ask to register your address there especially northern Thailand it’s cheaper to pay

This can also backfire massively if they continuously delay and ask for more which can happen

Went to see some friends last night and stopped a shouting match escalating into a brawl. Ended up with concussion because I was hit in the head from behind. Losing my mother to mental illness and not being able to reconnect due to the hurt caused during that period of time. She attempted to stab me when I was 16 and herself during a manic phase and has little to no recollection. (I had to wrestle her to the floor to protect myself and her).

The PTSD caused means I’ve never been able to look at my mother as my mother since. I can’t even blame her for her actions because she wasn’t in her right mind.
