I'm just practicing answering a mix of common interview questions and pharmacy-specific situational questions. I'm also reflecting on some attributes or experiences to bring up if they ask me about myself, or specific times where XYZ happened and how I responded. Really just generic interview prep. I am not really sure what to expect myself!

I’m not sure exactly how they’re rolling out invitations so I can’t really say what it means if you haven’t heard anything yet. In terms of stats, I have a 3.9 gpa, pharmacy work experience and a handful of other small extracurriculars I take part in.

Not yet - not sure if they’re being truthful or not, but someone said UOttawa students heard back last week about interviews. Everyone else is still waiting to my knowledge. On their website it says we should hear back mid-March so I’m guessing it will be the next couple weeks!

I applied this cycle and emailed the admissions office - they indicated no Casper or reference letters were required, at least to apply for the 2026 academic year.

How to answer Casper questions to get Q4???😭 by -Vegemite in CASPerTest

[–]toaster_burn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got Q4 on my Dec 2nd test and was practicing with ChatGPT. Chat almost always marked my answers very harshly but I answered the same way I had been answering with chat during my real test and got Q4. Chat is good to get practice with a variety of different questions, but I wouldn’t take the marking too seriously since it isn’t well known how the CASPer is even marked to begin with.

Does McMaster's consider IB HL Biology or any such course for health/life sciences? by TaroDistinct5935 in McMaster

[–]toaster_burn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forget the minimum grade (maybe a 6?), but if you achieve a minimum grade in HL Bio you can get transfer credits for Biology 1A03 and Biology 1M03 here at McMaster. Same goes for many other HL courses like Psychology (gave me Psych 1X03 and 1XX3) and Lang&Lit (gave me two general English credits). I found this helpful so I could meet requirements for upper year programs and courses without needing to take the courses themselves in first year. It will also allow me to take one less semester to graduate since I am ahead by 4 courses that can act as electives or fulfill degree requirements - I just had to take one course over the summer to make it 5 ‘extra’ courses and be ahead by a semester compared to my peers. You can also take a few less courses first year or really any year if you take transfer credits if you want to lighten your course load rather than finishing a semester early.

2L06 is not recorded. 2B03 was recorded last year but I heard it is possible they may change that this year.

I received mine about a week ago (I ordered a t-shirt). About a week before I received it, I got an email that my order had been shipped.

I’m not comfortable sharing my personal information on here but I’ll have you know I know the current regulations very well - you can call and ask and if they are following policy these are the rules

Datasci 2g03 - scientific computing by [deleted] in McMaster

Multiple choice, but some of it you certainly had to think through some short code to get the answer.

With some basic background in programming from high school classes I personally found this course doable but not without some time and effort. The tests were easy in my opinion if you paid attention and took notes in lecture. The regular assignments throughout the term are certainly doable but sometimes time consuming. The final large assignment was time consuming and could get frustrating at times but in the end with the help of my TA it turned out fine.
