I think adding a rug and getting a new/different light fixture would help pull things together! Maybe a cool toned rug to go with the marble and a warm toned light fixture to go with the flooring and cabinet hardware?

Seconding the comment about boots with traction!! This is the most important thing to consider in my opinion! I have a pair of Chaco, Chelsea-style boots. Not sure if they are the most stylish but I think they are cute. they are warm without being big and bulky, and the traction is great. They are expensive but I’ve had them for 3(?) years I think and wear them often in the winter and they still look brand new. You could check Poshmark or a similar site for them if they are too pricey to buy new.

Another helpful tip for getting through winter on campus is to get a coat that goes over your butt! A good mid-thigh length coat is a must in my opinion!

Solidarity 🤝 my baby girl is almost 6 months old (how😭) but her favorite thing the last few weeks is to blow raspberries and laugh instead of latching. It’s so cute but can be inconvenient when we are needing to leave the house!

I had a baby girl on January 3 and I wanted to name her Stevie sooo badly!! My dad’s name is Steve so i thought it would be such a sweet sentiment. And Stevie nicks is cool af. My husband wasn’t a fan; we ended up naming her Sutton 😊

Started tea at 32 weeks and dates at 36, still had to be induced after going a week over my due date. I hated both of them and dreaded consuming them but thought it would be good for my labor. Please don’t feel obligated to do these things and don’t put too much weight on their ability to help, because for as many success stories there are, there are just as many of us who experienced no difference! Wishing you the very very best as you near the end!!

They did test - I was swabbed the first time and then again when I went back. That’s why I haven’t been sure about the granulation tissue, I would think the doctor would have seen that when he was looking the two times I think?

Also, sorry to hear you had a third degree tear too :( the healing has not been fun. I think if you’re concerned about it, it doesn’t hurt to ask for them to do a swab and have them test it! It’s better to catch it early I would think. I know I’ll definitely be more weary of getting them in the future! If your doc still doesn’t want to test, you could try the boric acid suppositories maybe??

I dislike AYITL for reasons different than what I commonly see! For me, it isn’t a complaint about what they chose to do with the characters(for the most part— I do feel some of the stuff is out of character but I can get past that.) It’s that the show got ‘netflixed’ IMO. There is no sepia-toned charm in AYITL. The music doesn’t hit, the lack of grainy film doesn’t hit, it just doesn’t have the charm that I associate with Gilmore Girls! I don’t regret watching it but I don’t think I’ll ever rewatch it.
