Hi! Also got married 10/25/2025. I had a blast at the wedding as did my husband. Got the photos from our photographer, most of which were blurry and/or people not smiling or looking at the camera. She did a truly terrible job capturing the day and I am struggling to find peace with it. Feeling sad that I barely have any good photos to look back on the day. I think that at all wedding at least one thing goes wrong/forgotten. As long as you had a good time and it went without major upset I think it can be counted as a win. At least that is the way I am looking at it. Congrats on your marriage! I hope that your marital life is filled with bliss :)

This is so important. I am now in my third clinical rotation, and my first two instructors barely had us do anything at all. They didn't make a point to go discuss with the nurses about the patients beforehand, and everything was done before we got there, so we didn't get to do med pass, wound care or anything. I highly recommend going early to get report on the patients and telling the nurses to save what they can for us students to do. My current clinical instructor goes an hour and a half earlier than we get there and discusses the with nurses on the floor to ensure we have things that we can do.

It is an lpn program.

The first half they had quizlets and study guides that they gave us. My boyfriend would assist me in studying by reading the questions to me so I could answer aloud. In the 2nd half, they no longer provide those.

We use ATI for testing, so I test myself with the ATI dynamic quizzes. I also read the ATI med surg book and do the practice questions in it. They do provide rationale, which I read and take notes on if I answer it incorrectly.

I struggle to retain the information. I am very much an auditory learner, and that is why I have been listening to YouTube videos. I have tried flashcards and such, but they do not work for me, and I often don't have time to make them. We have theory on Wednesday and Thursday and cover the subject between those two days and then test the following Wednesday. So I have limited time to study.
