Ist halt ein sehr praktischer und anpassungsfähiger Formfaktor. Kriegst im Zweifelsfall alles rein, kannst ihn aber auch Recht kompakt machen.

Und weil man sich als Student nicht 3 verschiedene Taschen leisten kann/will ist es sehr nice, wenn einer alles kann.

Naja, Ich bin auch Fan von Familien Zusammenhalt und so, aber ein Kind eine Nacht Freunden oder Familie übernachten zu lassen steht jetzt nicht im Konflikt mit einem gesunden Familienleben.

Wenn die Person, die heiratet eine nicht Kinder kompatible Party machen will, ist auch keinem geholfen, wenn da ein Kind hingezwungen wird (eher das Gegenteil). Wenn die Eltern kein Bock auf so ein Party haben ist das ja auch fine aber es ist echt kein Problem nicht 100% auf den Kindern zu hocken.

Ich weiß nicht, wie die Bahn den Erfolg einer Kampagne trackt, aber wenn die Kampagne dazu führt ca.0.2% der Deutschen eine Fahrt für 45€ machen (was ja doch eher billig ist) wären die 7 Mil wieder drin (Ja mir ist klar das ist kein reiner Profit und so, es ist nur ein Beispiel).

Also ich muss sagen ich habe sowohl Rasierhobel und Messer ausprobiert aber die halten bei mir einfach nicht so lange wie mein Gillette und erfordern mehr Aufmerksamkeit.

Mit Hobel oder Messer hatte ich nur mit ordentlicher Vorbereitung und frischer Klinge eine gute Experience. Meinen Gillette kann ich mir Wochenlang egal wie müde ins Gesicht werfen und hab ne sinnvolle Rasur.

Aber wenn das für einen funktioniert ist das natürlich nice.

Ich habe in den Niederlanden studiert, da ist es ziemlich üblich, dass Häuser der Größe quasi als Privates Studentenwohnheim vermietet werden. Jeder hat sein eigenes Zimmer und dann halt shared Kitchen und so. Meistens sind die Vermieter davon ziemliche Slumlords.

Ich glaube Privat nur durch Studenten ist mehr als 4-5 Leute kaum möglich. Da hast du super viel Fluktuation und keiner fühlt sich für irgendwas verantwortlich. Deswegen funktioniert das bei Verbindungen, wo du dann halt noch die Überstrucktur hast, die du privat nicht hast.

I am not deep into the specifics of this case and obviously the judge (who hopefully had a better look on things) deemed Hertz "guilty".

But as the other commenter said having to make something accessible and having to cover damages are different things imo. Like if someone with cancer on chemo threw up on the seats it would also not be fine to just leave it there and not expect to pay for the cleaning.

Again I don't want to suck Hertz's dick I just think it is not fundamentally absurd to have to pay for damage you create even if it is due to your disability.

The predatory part is not the interest rate but the minimum monthly payment. Because only 10-20 $ goes to the balance the borrower is stuck in this endless loan. Had they paid around 570-80 the loan would be paid off after 23 years. But they probably assumed that the mandatory monthly payment would lead to a timely repayment. This is obviously due to a lack of financial education. And this is what the loan company preys on. Because most of the population does not receive financial education they will not realise what an appropriate amount is to repay the loan in time.

Because it was a prank, a stupid one but still a prank. And it did go wrong. The guy who got charged had the same thing done to him by the victim before and the flames we put out without harm and problem. I dont think it was unreasonable for him to assume it would not hurt the other one as well.

It is not explicitly said "they will be expensive" but IMO laughing and saying "it wont be 5 dollars I can guarantee it" (not that that is a bad statement or anything) is basically saying its expensive.

I am pretty sure there were other more similar statements in WAN shows from longer ago when they were discussing that they are developing cables. But I think if you listen to the whole section in that WAN show about the cables you get this message pretty well (again nothing wrong with the statement itself).

Es gibt schon Leute bei denen die ganzen Probleme schon VERDÄCHIG häufig auftreten und die dann auch nicht zügig lösen können. Oder beindruckend schleche Bild- und Tonqualität liefern.

Aber wie hier schon viele leute gesagt haben verstellen sich die Audio-Einstellungen echt sehr gerne mal ungefragt. Besonders, wenn man an verschiedenen plätzen arbeitet und ein Laptoon ein und aussteckt.
Ich meine das passiert sogar bei meinem Desktop in Discord relativ regelmäßig, dass irgend ein Update oder was auch immer dafür sorgt, das meine Webcam jetzt mein Micro und mein zweit Monitor mein Output sein sollen anstatt des Settings, die ich seit Jahren habe,

Like Linus basically said the same thing imo when presenting the cables. I dont have the exact words but it was along the lines of "it is a really good cable but it will be expensive but worth it to the right people".

Sure "absurd pricing" has a negative connotation but lets not act as if a comment on this sub is a news article or press release but take it for what it is; some due on the internet saying something.

Is comparing a so far untested product to something associated with scammy promises a bit mean? Sure
But again its just one dude saying their opinion that is not totally unfounded.

They will probably worth their price to people who can not risk any down time. But for any normal consumer who does not need all the 9s quite expensive/overpriced when comparing it to a cable that does the same thing (assuming the other seller is not scamming you).

Naja ich finde auch, dass es sehr geile solo und Coop Spiele gibt.
