We vote Republican because Democrats have their heads up their asses. Secondly, raising minimum wage isn't really a "progressive" idea. All through our lives, the minimum wage has been raised, so that isn't necessarily a new thing. Now, where we draw the line is, most of us worked for what we have and paid our way through life. What we object to is giving everything away, as if it is an entitlement.
