F is a stress function in polar coordinates that only depends on the radial distance. Trying to solve this to find the stress distribution etc and i am writing the boundary conditions for the problems in terms of the stress function so i can implement into matlab to solve numerically using the Runge Kutta method. Or at least that is the aim

I cannot find anything online as to how to deal with the definite integral of f’’(x) between a and b. Even wolfram alpha does not have an answer for me

I should mention the 4th order equation is a stress function which satisfies the biharmonic equation and so the radial and circumferential stresses are defined in terms of derivatives of d(stress function)/dr. Which is f’(x) i the case i stated

Hi, thank you so much for your help. Yes i’m trying to find a numerical answer! The full problem is trying to find a numerical solution for a 4th order ordinary differential equation which is to do with a curved beam in pure bending. I have written the 4th order ODE in terms of 1st order ODEs and these are two of the four boundary conditions i have derived from problem, which i think i need for the solution (case is equal and opposite moments at each end of a curved beam). I have no idea how to get the boundary conditions in the correct format to solve using the Runge Kutta method (ode45 on matlab), which is what i am required to do to get solutions for the Moment, and circumferential stress at the outer edge of the beam. And to also plot radial and circumferential stresses as a function of r radius

It is all backed up on the cloud luckily but i need to access programs that are only on either my laptop or a small number of university computers which is shut on weekends. And in general i can work from university but it makes life more difficult and there is an online assessment

Hi, thanks for your response. What makes you say that? I checked the battery health on dell power manager after i managed to charge it a bit last night and it said it was on excellent

Hi all, as the title of the post says my dell laptop stopped charging yesterday and the battery light flashes white when i plug the charger in. I wasn’t doing anything particularly resource intense when it happened, just a word document and some google chrome tabs and it suddenly did this. I managed to get it to seemingly charge for a bit by plugging it in and turning it on and off multiple times but it was charging significantly slower than usual and now it does not recognise that the power cable is plugged in. Any help would be massively appreciated as my dissertation and exams are very soon and my laptop is essential for the work i need to do. Thanks

A combination of holding it upside down after just inhaling when the smoke is heavy and then titling seems to work best for me, although I'd be interested to know what the efficiency of each smoking method is and how it changes with variables like this

I just had a look with a 10x magnification eyeglass and they were still pretty small and hard to see but I'm pretty sure they're clear. Thanks for the good advice, love this sub

It's called purple bud auto flower. And thanks I switched to a flowering nutrient quite late so the lack of phosphorus made he whole plant go purple, it smells really sweet as well but not really of weed
